A Perspective on Obama’s Failed Presidency

Still, when it comes to Barack Obama, the fact is, I DID tell you! As America enters day three of the most serious incident of pilot error since the Titanic rammed into an iceberg 97 years ago, the sinking feeling in Washington, D.C. these days is that voters were duped and misled by a man who would be shoveling snow in south Chicago were it not for the fact that he is black AND "clean and articulate," a rare combination not only in Chicago, but throughout the 57 states. Consider, please, the objective facts: 1. Oaf of Office Technically speaking, Barack Hussein Obama is not president because he was unable to correctly recite the Oath of Office, a simple task that even George W. Bush managed to do flawlessly on two separate occasions. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts needs to demand that the swearing-in ceremony be repeated to assure full compliance with the Constitution. However, the nation, the world, and all of humankind will be most blessed by NOT repeating Obama's inaugural address. Ever! 2. Pandering to Gays While Bin Laden Is Still Loose By now, Obama and the Democrats should have captured Osama bin Laden or made a serious attempt to do so. Even a token gesture like sending 100,000 troops into Pakistan would help set the right tone for the new world leader in the war on terror. Instead, President Obama is fretting over the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" military policy concerning gays in the military. Just what the hell do gays in the military have to do with capturing Osama bin Laden? Does Obama really believe that Osama is a closeted gay who might wander from his cave in search of male companionship if there were openly gay men serving in the US Marines? Is that "straight" talk from Leon Panetta? 3. Staffing Jihad by Shutting Down Guantanamo Bay As if Obama's reckless and irresponsible delay in bringing Osama bin Laden to justice were not bad enough, the new president actually took action that will help staff Osama's next Jihad. He did so by calling for Hotel Gitmo to be shut down. The next step will be unconditional pardons for the terrorists and free First Class air transportation back to Al-Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan, courtesy of Uncle Sam. 4. Freezing White House Salaries While the American economy falls into greater and greater disrepair as a result of Obama's cavalier inattention, the president goes for the breaking news "feel good" headlines by announcing that the salaries of 100 White House aides who earn $100,000 or more are being frozen. There is more to the story: Turns out that all 100 were added to the payroll since the inauguration. Perhaps Obama should explain why in the hell he needs 100 employees in the White House with salaries in excess of $100,000? Why not downsize 1600 Pennsylvania by laying off 90 or so of those liberal leeches, and by cutting the salaries of the other 10 to $24,500 maximum? That makes terrific sense at a time when with millions of Americans out of work and unable to pay their mortgages Overall Summary: So far, President Barack Obama is the second worst president of this century. His lack of experience and leadership skills will be a huge problem if not corrected immediately. As a compassionate conservative, I believe in giving the fellow a chance. Here's my offer: If President Obama has not righted the ship of state by Saturday morning, we the people may have to let this dude go. America desperately needs a man who "Got game" during this critical time in American history.
