Frustrated, Disgruntled, and Disgusted...Not

Frustrated, Disgruntled, and Disgusted...NotAfter all that I have done for the Military, our great Veterans, Judges (99), Justices (2), Tax & Regulation Cuts, the Economy, Energy, Trade & MUCH MORE, does anybody really think I won't build the WALL? Done more in first two years than any President! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! -- Trump tweet 1/27/19 Just remember to smile as you fight for your freedom, because that shows them that they don't get to win. -- Kurt Schlichter "What Will It Take To Make You Understand And Accept That They Hate You?" Last week left me feeling frustrated, disgruntled, and disgusted, and why would it not? First, we had the vicious media/leftist pile-on swarming a group of innocent Christian kids, guilty of the "horrific hate-crime" of wearing Make America Great Again ball caps (if that phony Vietnam vet had started pounding his tom-tom in my face, he would have been wearing it around his ears in short order--but I'm no innocent Christian kid).
Then the government shut-down fizzled out, with no positive moves made toward building a border wall/fence whatsoever. Then Trump supporter Roger Stone was arrested by an FBI SWAT team, complete with attack vehicles and AR-15s. "Come out with your hands up! And bring your little dog too (get out the K-9 shackles)." George Orwell and Kafka would be impressed, America in 2019 has outdone them both. "Calling Paul Manafort!" In prison you say? No trial you say? Solitary confinement you say? No release date you say? Bye Paul, nice knowing you. After their showdown with dangerous and violence-prone desperado Roger Stone, I imagine that the FBI is now dusting off their AR-15s in preparation for their next confrontation with a vicious Clinton whistleblower. Oh brother.

I thought that FBI head honcho Christopher Wray was supposed to clean up the FBI's badly tarnished image. Looks like more of the same-old/same-old to me--worse if anything. Which gets to the reason for my feeling so frustrated, disgruntled, and disgusted last week--nothing seems to be changing in Washington DC. Don't get me wrong, I think that President Trump has done, and is doing, an incredible job of playing a lousy hand against a stacked deck. It is phenomenal what he has accomplished against all odds. But, and this is a big but, WHERE THE # IS THE PUSH-BACK? Where are the indictments, grand juries, arrests, and incarcerations? We the People are well aware that numerous crimes have been committed against the American republic. Felonies beyond count! And nobody, nobody, NOBODY has been held accountable for any of it. WTF is going on? We've been told to be patient, Trump needs to get all his ducks in a row. Judges need to be put in place, and a new AG sworn in (one hopes that Barr will be more effective at cleaning up the DOJ than Wray has been at cleaning up the FBI). Huber's working on things, IG Michael Horowitz is working on things, Acting AG Whitaker's working on things. Everybody's working on things. Yeah, well...maybe. I wouldn't bet the farm on any of it.

While We the People patiently wait for ducks to get in a row, our "house" is burning down around our heads. America's rule of law is a joke, Congress is an absurd farce, Republicans are infested with NeverTrumpers, and Democrats are on a suicidal kamikaze run to the far left. It's enough to make me frustrated, disgruntled, and disgusted to the point of rage. And that is when I pull myself up short--because I realize that I am letting others push my buttons and dictate how I feel, and that I will not allow. For the sake of both my spirit and physical health I cannot let myself run around enraged and half-cocked 24/7. So, I take a deep breath and, as Kurt Schlichter advises, I smile. I smile not because the world is going great, but because the most important relationship I have, by far, is the one I have with God, and God, as I understand Him, wants me to be happy...joyful in fact. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! --Philippians 4:4 (NIV) So, I drop back ten, regroup, smile, and carry on the fight. I transmute those negative vibes of disgruntled frustration and disgust into the positive virtues of commitment, optimism, and revolutionary patriotic ardor.
