Global News Reports 75% of 99.975% - Canada's COVID-19 1st Wave Survival Rate--Would Approve Of Another Lockdown

Global News' recent report claiming 75% of Canadians would accept another lockdown speaks great truths, but only about the sorry state of our "news" industry and its unmerited influence over elected government officials. Does Canada's puny "first wave" mortality rate of .025% surprise you? If so, take a deep breath because the figures become more revealing when Quebec's abnormally high death rate is removed, raising the rest of Canada's survival rate up to 99.985%. This is not a typo! 

Fake Models = Fake News = Fake Justification = Real Lockdowns

In fact, also excluding Ontario's higher than average numbers brings the survival rate even higher for the eight outside provinces, an incredible 99.996%. Put another way, at just over .04%, the average mortality rate for a combined Ontario and Quebec is 10 times higher than the .004% rate for the rest of us. Yet, according to Global News, a virus of such paltry lethality somehow terrifies three quarters of affected Canadians to the point they would gladly approve of additional lockdown action. Is this sensical or absurd? You can confirm the calculations yourself with these mid-September numbers. One of these things is not like the others. Unfortunately for Canadians, it's the thing that governs our lives.   Early in COVID-19's assault, the political/media complex insisted shutdowns and lockdowns were necessary to save us from the deadly "novel" coronavirus and avoid apocalyptic doom. At the time, Fake News could hide behind a well-worn mask of plausibility. Government COVID-19 model projections spoke with a clear, consistent, and uniform message that cried, "Do something, or we're all gonna die!". What, other than "something", could they do?

The story is much different today because we've now accumulated several months of actual data, including mortality figures that clash strongly with second wave action plans. Imagine trying to sell Saskatchewan on the need for further measures when COVID-19 only managed to take out .002% of the population, a mere 24 people.  Or Premier Kenney and Mayor Nenshi cancelling the 2021 Calgary Stampede because a meagre 99.994% of Albertans survived COVID's first wave. I suspect even Premier Ford or Brampton Mayor Brown would find it difficult to sell the need for their COVID services given more than 99.97% of their constituents survived the first wave of viral terror.   Obviously, the "first wave" mortality figures aren't compelling enough to legitimize further political action and are losing their persuasive punch. A new vehicle is needed to help drive government decisions, and they found it with a "rising number of cases". However, even that narrative is struggling against the truth of COVID-19's anemic first wave lethality.  Luckily for Fake News and their puppet politicians, there is new COVID-19 model projecting a dramatic surge in cases and deaths! Will this model finally legitimize COVID political tyranny? No, but that won't stop them from using it to justify locking you down.  At some point Canadians will figure out the ruling class doesn't abuse absolute power because they care, but because they can. Hopefully that realization comes in time to make a positive difference for freedom. Oh, what a tangled web we weave … when first we practice to deceive Walter Scott's quote speaks to the simple truth that lies naturally beget more lies. As Fake News rests on deceitful claims, all subsequent justifications--like this new model--will prove be another strand in an intricate web of deceit.  The goal of Fake News is the justification of Fake beliefs, not their legitimization, because it is impossible to legitimize lies with truth. So, once a Fake News narrative has been exposed, as it has been in the case of the original Fake COVID-19 models, it is proper to infer all further aid and support of that narrative will also be Fake.  So, yes, consider this a logic-based prediction that will prove itself long before January rolls around, possibly as early as November 3, the date of the upcoming US Presidential election.

It's Not About The Children

Actually, it's about the type of world we leave the children. Will it be a world that respects the value of freedom, or will it one that respects revolting, totalitarian decrees? We can answer this question by taking an honest look at the path were currently travelling. Were the original COVID-19 models disturbingly incorrect? Yes, by enormous amounts. Has that changed the narrative oozing out of the political/media complex? No, not at all, they've simply replaced their original illegitimate justifications with ones from a new, possibly less Fake, COVID-19 models. The goal--our subjugation--remains the same. They know that lockdown policies have caused enormous pain and suffering yet they insist we accept their latest justifications and prepare for more of it. This tells us the media and political class is more concerned with the power Fake News brings them than the harm it causes us. If Global News is correct, and 75% of us would happily accept another unjustified lockdown, what will our response be to the next Fake News model that projects apocalyptic doom? So far, it is hard to imagine much in the way of push back and easy to imagine a masked-up population bleating nervously in a mandatory vaccine line. It seems the only lesson learned from the COVID-19 political scam is that we, the fearful people, will quietly accept any illegitimate justification for tyranny they throw at us. They can scare us into anything, and they don't need truth to do it. As the original models prove, they don't even need to be close to the truth for society to swallow fear whole. At this point we have shown we will question nothing, that if an "expert" like Greta or a "model" says it, it must be true, that we'll gladly pat ourselves on the back for obeying delusional decrees, and that we thoroughly lack the will, courage, and integrity it takes to stand and fight for freedom.  Hence, prepare for lockdown! This is the world we'll bequeath future generations if we continue down this Fake path.
