The economy. It’s all political, folks! It isn’t about doing what’s right. No. Because if it was about doing what’s right politicians would be following the model of Standard and Poor's (doing business responsibly), the agency responsible for handling the credit rating for many countries in the world.
Currently there is 32 trillion dollars standing debt in the world. DEBT! Debilitating debt! But it’s a necessary reality we all have to face!
No one wants to do that, including the United States Congress! Meanwhile movements like the Tea Party keeps yelling, “LISTEN TO US because you are destroying our future by playing politics!”
That is what is going on.
It SHOULD NEVER be about one’s career and holding on to it –power, for the sake of yourself…how much you can suck out of the American people. Debt be damned!
Politicians are SERVANTS! They go to Washington to SERVE THE PEOPLE and if there is a deficit, then it must be addressed, not covered up like we have the most pristine credit rating in the world and we got it all under control because the reality IS…we are IN DEBT! TO OTHER NATIONS! We keep borrowing and spending and the spending never stops! It’s DANGEROUS!
So now Congress is upset over the fact Standard and Poor's has downgraded the United State’s credit rating from AAA to AA and as Standard and Poor's has recently said it will go even further and downgrade some more, Congress is ever defiant. It’s outrageous!
What all this means for the American people is that car loans, house loans…interest will spike.
The United States is NOT immune to what has happened in other countries!
I have been on hands and knees praying this country would avert a crisis, and we did…temporarily. A bipartisan committee was formed to address our debt issue. But it’s not over.
The only solution to our crisis the American people face is to GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY TO ALMIGHTY GOD! He is the only one who can help in this time of trouble!
America has prided itself …in previous years on being self-sufficient. People of this nation have prided itself on freedom to make their choices and in that, have relied on God, Jesus Christ to get them through situations. Now is no different!
If we are to survive, our hope, our eyes must look heavenward and He who is able …He will guide us! Jesus Christ!
