The next national election will be especially contentious. Given that Democrats have literally lost their minds over the last one, they now seem to be dogged to follow a hard move to the left that could qualify them as seditious, traitors or certifiably nuts at least.
There is no doubt that Democrats, especially the new socialists (e.g., the Squad) are overcoming the old worn-down Dems like Pelosi and Schumer who were content to keep minorities and the poor right where they are, dependent. The 'Squad' is determined to make everyone dependent.
These new American Communists foam at the mouth a new secular socialism with all vestiges of Judeo-Christianity removed, blaming all the white males for everything they deem wrong in America...the new enemy of their political movement. The Left has assaulted journalists, bashed, threatened, and slandered the opposition, and even now are attempting to destroy or subvert the Constitution. They demand that everyone be under their collective feet. Our forefathers who founded this great country with a God-centered, freedom-loving Constitution would certainly roll their eyes, turn over in their graves and place the pillow over their heads.
Democrats have no intention of losing another presidential election. They plan to functionally eliminate rural red states and leave the selection of the president permanently to populous Democrat blue states. It would mean depending on widespread voter fraud, manipulation of the electorate by Silicon Valley, ballot harvesting and the mass voting of illegal aliens in California, New York, and elsewhere, all to create mob rule, and a one-party nation.
Ballot harvesting is the practice of collecting absentee ballots by third parties and submitting them for the voter. It is illegal in every state except California. It smacks of voter fraud. With millions of illegal immigrants in California of voting age, a sanctuary policy still in force, the registering to vote when they apply for a driver license, they could conceivably swing any election.
Not many people are aware of the backdoor election scheme that Democrats have been planning and pushing these past dozen years. It's called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, a scheme devised in California. It is a written agreement among a group of states and the District of Columbia to guarantee that the candidate that wins the popular vote will win the presidency. It seems fair on the surface, but only on the surface. It is a way to bypass the Electoral College, eliminate the smaller states in the selection process, and effectively nullify the Constitution that they continually repudiate.
So far, the states that have passed or joined the compact are of no surprise. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington State have signed on so far. These states represent 196 electoral votes and 72.6% of the votes needed. Other states may join in. Anyone familiar with the political climate today can see a pattern here. They are all predominantly Democrat states.
This agreement is to make sure the candidate that wins the popular vote becomes president. The Democrats will no longer abide by an Electoral College system.
Contrary to the popular belief of the mal-educated today and the very name of the opposition party, we do not live in a democracy. We reside in a Constitutional Republic. In a democracy, or mob rule as some would put it, leaders are not constrained by a constitution. Our Bill of Rights in the Constitution spells out the limits of government power...what government cannot do. For instance, our government cannot deny you freedom of speech, the right to assembly, or infringe on your right to own a firearm, because it is spelled out in the Constitution. These are rights granted to us by God, not men. In a democracy, there could simply be a vote to decide what rights you will have, or not have and change with the political winds. A citizen will no longer be able to depend on a Constitution that forever guarantees those rights but will have to rely upon a fickle congress or an nefariously indoctrinated electorate instead.
The intent of the Electoral College is to give every state and its people a voice on who becomes president. The Electoral College consists of 538 electors. A minimum of 270 are required to win the presidency. Each number of electors equals the number of the state's senators and congressmen so that the electors represent both the people and the states. For instance, California has about 39 million people and 55 electoral votes, whereas Wyoming has 592,000 people and 3 electoral votes, making California 65 times larger than Wyoming. But California is only 18 times more powerful in electors than Wyoming, giving Wyoming a political voice.

If we elected presidents by popular vote, only the largest cities in the most populous states would have a voice on who becomes president, leaving most of the states unheard. If that were the case, no candidate would even bother to campaign in most of the states, and the needs of those states would be inconsequential with those states being subservient.
The problem will be amplified by the millions of fraudulent votes in primarily Democrat areas and the lack of voter ID laws in those states. Remember, it is legal for non-citizens to register to vote for local elections in cities such as San Francisco, Chicago, and other cities across the country. According to Old Dominion University, 6.4% of illegal aliens voted in the 2008 presidential election. Given that 80% of illegal aliens lean Democrat, an election could be tipped. Democrats are fully aware of this and plan to take full advantage of it.
This compact is arguably unconstitutional, but it has not been tested. If the next Democratic presidential candidate wins the popular vote but loses the Electoral College as constitutionally applied, both parties will declare their candidate a winner. This will create much more than a constitutional crisis. It could create a war. It did in 1860 when the Democrat Party refused to accept the results of an election, with more than 700,000 dead four years later. In today's population numbers, that would equal more than 7 million dead.
The next 'civil war', if it is to be, will be a real civil war, a fight for control of this government. It appears that we are in the first phase of it. The Socialists will not desire secession, but demand total control in Washington.
When Democrats fight tooth and nail to prevent laws requiring a photo ID to vote, when they allow illegal aliens to vote in local elections, you know what they have in mind. The Democrat Party in many respects has become a criminal enterprise. The people of Colorado, with only 9 electoral votes, have risen up and are getting close to reversing their legislature by putting the Compact on their ballot in 2020.
President Trump is righting the ship, but he cannot do it alone.
