Kudos Candace for a job well done

For those who missed it, Candace Owens testified before the Congressional hate crimes committee last week, and she ripped the Democrats a new one in her opening statement. The hate crimes committee was convened to examine "white nationalism" and "hate crimes", and Candace blew that narrative out of the water in her opening statement:

"The hearing today is not about “white nationalism” or “hate crimes.” It’s about fear-mongering, power and control. It’s a preview of the 2020 Democrat election strategy. What they want to say is that brown people need to be scared which seems to be the narrative that we hear every four years right ahead of a presidential election. White supremacy, racism, white nationalism, words that once held real meaning, have now become nothing more than election strategies."

The Democrats weren't happy with Candace, and they tried to get back at her by impugning her character. Democrat Ted Lieu tried to ambush Candace by playing an edited audio clip of Candace's response to a question she was asked about nationalism. Lieu only played a partial clip of her reply, leaving out the question and her response in it's entirety. Lieu's intent was to make it appear that Candace supports Nazism because she's a nationalist and supports President Trump. When Candace was given time to respond to the audio clip, she said, "Mr. Lieu thinks black people are stupid. He doesn't believe that black people will pursue the clip in it's entirety. He used an extracted clip." Before Candace could finish her response, Democrat Jerry Nadler interrupted Candace and accused her of calling Lieu stupid, although she didn't. Evidently, Nadler, besides being a moron, has Attention Deficit Disorder in addition to Trump Derangement Syndrome. Candace immediately told Nadler, "that's not what I said, that's not what I said at all. You didn't listen to what I said." Candace went on to expose the reason Lieu deliberately left out the context of her statement.

"He’s trying to present this as if I were launching a defense of Hitler. That was unbelievably dishonest and that he did not allow me to respond to it is worrisome. Candace added, "I’m deeply offended by the insinuation."

Nadler's interruption was an attempt to throw Candace off her message and change the narrative. Unfortunately for Democrats, it didn't work. Candace is smarter than the Democrats, and they can't stand her anymore than they can the President, who regularly plays them and the media for the fools they really are. What is so ironic about the entire hate crimes committee is that the worst haters in America, Democrats, run the committee. Trump hater Jerry Nadler is the chairman. If Candace's confrontation with Democrats proved anything, it proved that they are incapable of dealing with facts that don't fit their narrative. They are brainless puppets incapable of cognizant thought. And if the confrontation exposed anything, it exposed just how disingenuous, deceptive, divisive and dishonest Democrats are. Kudos Candace for a job well done. You may not have the respect of Democrats, but you certainly have mine.
