Attorney General Loretta Lynch said that love and compassion are the best responses to terrorism during remarks to the media in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday [6/21/16].—David Rutz “Lynch: Best Response to Terrorism Is Love and Compassion”

Let’s get something straight right off the bat: being a rug-mat is not compassionate, nor is it loving, and it is most certainly not wise.  On the contrary, it is delusional irresponsibility of the most asinine sort.  It harms both the rug-mat and whoever is wiping their feet on them.  You do no one any favors when you encourage a fool in their folly, or more to the point, when you give carte blanche to murderous jihadists.

Lynch’s boneheaded comments are all of a piece with the nonsensical bulls—t of multiculturalism and moral relativism.  She is either (1) truly ignorant, or (2) intentionally spreading disinformation, in line with the Democratic a—holes staging their sit-in in Congress (oh yeah Democrats, please give us more gun-free soft target kill-zones, and take away our means to defend ourselves, pretty please).  For any liberals reading this, that last bit was sarcasm.

To say that love and compassion are the best responses to terrorism is like advising a boxer to lead with their chin…no worse, much worse, it’s like telling a child to go play in the traffic.  Insane idiocy!

As I say, such stupidity can only be the result of total unfamiliarity (i.e. ignorance) with the homicidal/suicidal zealotry of the committed jihadist, or it is the intentional downplaying of the very “real and present” danger posed by Islamists—for what nefarious ends I can only guess at.  Actually that’s not true, I know d—n well what their intended ends are—the destruction of Western civilization and the ushering in of a New World Order.

But we’re not going there in this article—nor will I discuss humanity’s general cluelessness about what love—selfless, no-strings-attached love—truly is (although I am sorely tempted).

I’ll just stay on message and end with a quote by former President Teddy Roosevelt—it is a quote that speaks to our times and is worthy of contemplation.  For my money it is as relevant today as when he first penned it close to a hundred years ago.

(For those of you who might not know, the following information may help illuminate Roosevelt’s quote:  Charles “The Hammer” Martel defeated Muslim invaders advancing toward Paris, France in 732 A.D.  Several centuries later the Polish King Sobieski beat back an invading Muslim army at the other end of Europe in the “Battle of Vienna,” 1683 A.D.).

Christianity was saved in Europe solely because the peoples of Europe fought.  If the peoples of Europe in the seventh and eighth centuries, and on up to and including the seventeenth century, had not possessed a military equality with, and gradually a growing superiority over the Mohammedans who invaded Europe, Europe would at this moment be Mohammedan and the Christian religion would be exterminated.

Wherever the Mohammedans have had complete sway, wherever the Christians have been unable to resist them by the sword, Christianity has ultimately disappeared.  From the hammer of Charles Martel to the sword of Sobieski, Christianity owed its safety in Europe to the fact that it was able to show that it could and would fight as well as the Mohammedan aggressor….  The civilization of Europe, America and Australia exists today at all only because of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization…

During the thousand years that included the careers of the Frankish soldier and the Polish king, the Christians of Asia and Africa proved unable to wage successful war with the Moslem conquerors; and in consequence Christianity practically vanished from the two continents…  There are such “social values” today in Europe, America and Australia only because during those thousand years, the Christians of Europe possessed the warlike power to do what the Christians of Asia and Africa had failed to do—that is, to beat back the Moslem [sic] invader.  [italics added]—Teddy Roosevelt (1858-1919) “Fear God and Take Your Own Part” (1916) p. 70
