Men give up the frat boy, playstation, workaholic lifestyle

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus…What about Earth?

We've all heard the saying. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Yes, it would seem too many times that either sexes are from different planets. But at least women come down to Earth once in a while to look at reality. We don't continue to float out in space, continuing to be entertained by various wares. Earth to guys...at some point, you must grow up. It's time to become more grounded. The times call for it. This is for you guys, young or old.

Let me tackle a few examples.   First. Life is not a constant party. Don't cling to the frat boy mentality. Getting drunk, smoking weed and finding sexual conquests, has to end at some point. The need to hang with the guys and seek their approval does not a great life make.   Second. There are simply TOO many grown men attached to the PlayStation, and XBOX. A game or two every now and then won't hurt. BUT, there are times when men sit glued to the games and won't let go of the fantasy world. Thus, they cut everyone else out. If that's you, it's time to break away from that.   Third. Men...if you are grown and have found your niche in say, work, and have become distant...shutting out relationships other than those at work, you too need a dose of reality. The "workaholics" will work themselves into a coma. They are on a constant merry-go-'round of work and don't know how to get off (or unwilling to get off). Meanwhile, those closest to them are also "spinning" and grow increasingly frustrated and weary as well.   I know I could mention more nefarious activities in which too many American men need to break away from, but those above are the main problems that are a cause for concern. That pretty much sums up our society right now.   Ladies, for those of you who have your feet planted firmly in reality, perhaps it's time to help your man find his roots.  If the two of you are constantly floating around in space, where you are both going opposite directions with different agendas, (for example ladies, if you are rushing around, too wrapped up in your careers to find love) it's time to come together and find common ground.   Only when both sexes come to grips with what's tearing them apart (and their families) will both their needs be met.   Let's all find our place, with feet firmly planted on the same Earth.
