If the congressional inquiry into steroid and HGH use in baseball does little else in its proceedings then at least they can take great pride in knowing that due to Roger Clemens brain-numbing testimony.

We have now included the new word "misremembered" into the English language, a word used on numerous occasions Wednesday by the 7-time Cy Young winner whose fastball seems to travel at a higher rate of number than his IQ. Actually in all seriousness, the two contrasting testimonies from Clemens and his ex-trainer Brian McNamee has done nothing to clarify the whole nauseating mess. The only one who has nothing to lose it seems with his testimony is allstar pitcher and close Clemens friend Andy Petitte who has been truthful and candid from the beginning about his own use of Human Growth Hormone and claims that Clemens mentioned his own use of it to him. Happy Birthday and Valentines Day to two of my favorite ladies in the world. First, of course is my dear mom Wanda, who's celebrating both special occasions and whose actual first name is Valentyna after the saint and then to the love of all of Mississauga's heart the one and only Hazel McCallion who's celebrating her 87th on Thursday. Lots of love to both of these feisty smart dolls on their special day and many more to them both. So it looks like the Catholic School Board has done the right thing in giving long time trustee Christine Nunziata the heave ho from her cushy position on the board. The only problem with her termination is that it was for missing a number of meetings and zero to do with the allegations of expense misappropriations. It'll be interesting to see how they handle that problem of getting our hard earned tax dollars back from Nunziata if the allegations are proven.     According to an academic report released at Toronto City Hall, it seems that our poor overworked local Taxi drivers are putting in long hours for very little money calculated in many instances to be as low as an average of 2.83 an hour. I agree that the City, and we as citizens have a responsibility to help these poor overworked people to make a decent living for themselves. I personally will pledge 50 dollars of my own money and challenge all citizens and government to meet it in starting a new program initiative to teach those same taxi drivers on how to actually drive a car. That in itself would be a great lesson in upgrading at least the safety levels of the industry. Until next time
