Herman Cain continues his surge, picking up leads after the latest CNN GOP debate…a visionary who wants to take America where we stop doing the same things, expecting a different outcome and instead, change pace, change course.
Because of Herman Cain’s belief in America and the following he has accrued, especially since the October 18 debate in Las Vegas, he has been under even more fire. But that is to be expected with a crowded field of GOP candidates vying for the top position in polls. “I knew that the bulls-eye on my back, Sean, was big, but I didn't know it was that big until that last debate,” Cain told FOX’s Sean Hannity. As I watched the slugfest, Herman Cain was the candidate who stood out from the others as a leader and behaved himself accordingly. The rest of the group sincerely lacked originality and resorted to attacks and childish arguing rather than proposing solutions. Tsk, tsk.

I saw an adult in Herman Cain. Do we need in office, more of the same career politicians who are selfish in their ambitions and resort to pulling others down, or do we want someone leading our nation with new and bright ideas? Americans want and recognize a superb candidate—the latest FOXNEWS poll shows Cain leading Mitt Romney, and a Rassmussen poll showing the two men running neck and neck. Yet Romney, however suave he comes across, doesn’t have the appeal Cain seems to have. What makes Cain stand out is his Reaganesque attitude. In the national climate America currently sees herself in, many have become disgusted and disgruntled by the same politicians touting useless proposals. We need a GOP candidate who has vision and fire and truly believes in what he is saying to the American people. We do not need someone who tries to sell their plan, but who will, with emphasis and solidity, share their heart with America—what they plan to do. Under the presidency of Ronald Reagan, America led in every way possible. We had dreams that were inexhaustible; we looked forward with hope and held a vitality that made us the “shining city on a hill.” The only GOP candidate that believes in these ideals as fervently as he does is Herman Cain. “Where there is no vision, the people perish” – Proverbs 29:18 Cain has indeed moved to change the game, thus changing the direction of our nation, if we see the wisdom in what he proposes. Even with scant amount of money, Cain has secured momentum, as he shared with Hannity, “…message is more powerful than money.” So I agree. Give people a message that offers a glimpse of a prosperous future—funding and support will follow. Keep pushing on Mr. Cain, keep pushing. Watch Herman Cain in future GOP debates:
