Good News! You can now rent a death suite for $700. I’m assuming it has to be paid up front since you’re not leaving, but nevertheless assisted suicide has been commercialized.

In Quebec, a funeral home, The Complexe Funéraire du Haut-Richelieu in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., provides a space for people to have medically assisted deaths surrounded by loved ones.

The owner Mathieu Baker, states that the services that his facilities provide include a suite where a doctor can perform Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). Baker added that his facility is a “first in Quebec” and stressed the importance of the decision stating it’s a “very personal act that should be respected and done properly.”

Killing has become a business in Canada

It should be noted that the cost of euthanasia itself is covered for free by Quebec’s medical insurance. Baker states that his room provides a more comfortable area for those looking to have the procedure outside of a typical hospital setting.

Deaths have skyrocketed in Quebec since Euthanasia was legalized by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in 2016. Back then assisted deaths totaled only 63, however that figure has ballooned to 3,663 for the years 2021-2022.

In 2021 alone the Quebec government spent just under six million dollars on MAiD (5,880,162), according to government documents. A freedom of information request by Patricia Maloney, a “Run with Life” blogger exposed the information.

Patients in Quebec paid $674,102 for initial consultations lasting 15 minutes and $2,333,692 for additional 15-minute consultations. Patients then paid nearly $350,000 to have physicians administer MAiD to them. Additional costs were collected from administrative fees, forms, visits, and recurring consultations.

Overall, 10,064 Canadians chose doctor-assisted suicide as a means to end their lives in 2021. Data for 2022 is not available at this time.

Alex Schadenberg, the Executive Director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition voiced his concerns in a blog, lamenting that “killing has become a business in Canada.”

Only a matter of time before assisted deaths became profitable

“Hospitals and nursing homes save money by killing their patients and funeral homes can save money by having clients walk into the business and rent a death room, rather than being picked up, thus creating further profits for the funeral home.”

Schadenberg is correct, it was only a matter of time before assisted deaths became profitable. In this case, even Baker’s mother opposed the idea. In an interview with La Presse Baker stated “She didn’t talk to me for a month. She didn’t agree. That her son was doing this in the family business, it came to her.”

Now in an act to appear noble, the Quebec government is voicing concerns over the monetization of MAiD. Sonia Belanger, who is apparently responsible for senior care, stated that, “the important thing is to put people’s wishes first, while ensuring that the proposals are not part of a monetization of the practice.”

Good luck proving and enforcing that, Sonia. What the Quebec government is really concerned about is finding a way to get their piece of the death pie. After all, they installed the legality surrounding MAiD.

A poll taken recently showed that more than twenty five percent of Canadians support expanding euthanasia for those who are poor or homeless, (WAIT, what the hell does that mean?) but most oppose the expansion of the current MAiD laws.

Elites have been planning many ways to “cull the herd” for decades

As part of an expansion of the plan in 2021, a bill was passed called Bill C-7. The changes allowed for patients suffering from only mental illness to be included under the MAiD umbrella. The bill would also allow MAiD to be rendered to those suffering from chronic illnesses and not just the terminally ill.

The mental illness portion of the bill was supposed to take effect this past March, but pro-life groups, rational conservatives and others were able to delay the effect of the bill until 2024.

None of this should come as a surprise. The elites have been planning many ways to “cull the herd” for decades. This is their way of making us feel that they’re sensitive to our needs concerning death, and that they’re more than willing to help show us a peaceful mature way out of this world.

Euthanasia is a very, very, very slippery slope. Think of the hundreds of thousands of people that have no one to protect or speak for them. The left will exterminate them without a thought. Then they will justify their dirty deeds with flowery excuses, spoken with authority as “being the right thing to do.”

One thing is certain, the government will try expanding the parameters of euthanasia at every turn. It all comes down to their insanity about carbon reduction.

Just understand that the carbon they really want to get rid of is you.
