Many say that Trump is like Hitler, and if not like Hitler, he is speaking to people similar to the Nazis. There is a big difference between pre-Nazi Germany and the atmosphere in America prior to the arrival of Trump. The German hierarchy; government, media, academia, carefully groomed their people as early as late eighteenth century to hate others and promote the Volk- the real Germans. Dr. Konrad Adenauer said: “National Socialism could not have come to power in Germany if it had not found, in broad strata of the population, soil prepared for its sowing of poison. It is not accurate to say that the high military or the great industrialists alone bear the guilt.” By the beginning of the 20th century, each year tens of thousands of anti-Semitic pamphlets were sent free to all officials of the state. They were in every library. By the 1920s, there were approximately 430 anti-Semitic associations and societies, including the List Society, the Austrian Alpine Association, The German Language Club, the German Social Party, and the Thule Society which spread Volkist racial propaganda.
It was top down indoctrination preparing the people to use the Jews as scapegoats for all the ills they faced. And there were many; particularly after WWI when the Versailles Treaty devastated Germany. It was no accident that the Holocaust took place. The people believed the missives of their government leaders and took to Hitler like fish to water, probably thinking that they had come to their own conclusion when it fact they had been primed for such a leader after decades of being fed hate. Which brings me to America and the Trump phenomenon. Obama and the elite have continued to brainwash America into accepting a new –world order based on the concept of an open society; open borders, free trade, and now cultural and moral relativism which made it possible for Obama to elevate Islam to an equal status with the Judeo/Christian ethic, when in fact the two ethical systems are diametrically opposed to each other. One of the greatest differences is that Islam is not tolerant of other religions or lifestyles. The American government is considering making anti-lslam comments a crime. As a Jewish woman I am appalled. It is the Judeo/Christian ethic that gave us free speech yet this government is trying to stifle free speech. Interesting isn’t it that Islam does not permit free speech if it denigrates the Prophet. Hmmm. Unlike Germany where the people believed their government and followed them like sheep to the slaughter, a vast number of Americans will not accept this new world order based on Cultural Marxism. They hold on to “We the People” and “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” and “freedom and justice for all.” They are not prepared to follow the elites into a world that will lead to the fall of their hard won freedoms-freedoms based on the teachings of the Jewish people found in the Hebrew Bible, ethical monotheism, followed by the dissemination of the Judeo/Christian ethic.

Today, it is Grass Roots America, from the highly educated (a fact too many choose not to acknowledge) to blue collar workers. It’s bottom up. It has the makings of a revolution not unlike the 1960s. Brexit could just be the beginning. While Trump is listening to the fears of millions and millions of Americans, Obama and his entourage are attacking these same Americans calling them racists, xenophobes, fear-mongers and Islamophobic. Trump, unlike so many “Progressives” is concerned about people from another culture, Islam, diametrically opposed to our culture, coming to America and spreading their beliefs, not only spreading them but demanding they be followed in the name of tolerance!. Trump has seen Europe’s no-go zones. We have witnessed terrorism from a culture that in its very scripture calls for death to Jews and Christians, and the rape of women. The prophet Mohammed once asked a new convert “Would you like the girls of Banu al-Asfar?”—the “yellow haired people”—to entice him to join the jihad on Byzantium and reap its rewards, which, in this case, included the possibility of capturing blonde women. “O Abu Wahb,” Muhammad cajoled another, “would you not like to have scores of Byzantine [fair] women and men as concubines and servants?” Wahb responded: “O Messenger of Allah… if I see the women of the Byzantines, I fear I will not be able to hold back. So do not tempt me by them…” Sharia Law, the ethic that underpins Islam, makes it legal for Muslim countries to deny the right of Jews to live in them and Christians to practice their religion if they choose to live there. And the West is prepared to allow a 23 Muslim country, Palestine, to be declared and be legally Jew-free. The West is prepared to ethnically cleanse Palestine of its Jews. All in the name of tolerance. Or at least it is tolerated by the present leaders of Western countries. Perhaps grass roots Americans don’t agree with these policies that sound much like the anti-Jewish policies in the time of Hitler.

When Americans express their fear of terrorism and the changes in their lifestyle, Obama and the Democrats, in the name of pushing their top-down propaganda, refuse to acknowledge the legitimate fear of their citizens; fear from the bottom up. Trump heard and responded. He is not leading them down a path of hate. If anything he is keeping it under control because he has given millions of people a safe space to speak. Do we not have safe spaces on campus now for those whose feelings have been hurt? Better to speak than to be violent. And please note that violence is most prevalent from the left. They shut down speakers on campus and have demonstrated against Trump rallies, often leading to violence promoted, by the left. Obama and his coterie, unwilling to let go of their vision of America, have chosen to scapegoat Trump. They say he is evil; he is Hitler. He is the problem. And therefore it follows that his followers are just like the Nazis. If you disagree with the “Progressives” there is something wrong with you; not the policies of the “Progressives.” Trump is no angel but he has the courage to reflect the fears of Americans. And they fear because their government, instead of responding to their concerns, calls them names. How juvenile. Their own government is demeaning and denigrating them, talking to them and about them with utmost disrespect. Trump heard them and listened and respected their views. And offered suggestions like better control on borders as he has seen what happened in Europe with the free flow of millions of people coming into countries, like Britain, taking advantage of social services-welfare. He watched the British vote for Brexit. He wants to vet immigrants in a time of Islamic terrorism. Why is this a drastic, racist request? He has also called for a review of trade agreements. Why is that so terrible? I’m a Canadian and I’m worried that his policies might affect Canada but I want my government to take care of our workers, too. Perhaps free trade needs to be reassessed. If we don’t talk about it, we won’t know if it can be tweaked to better help the middle class and blue-collar families. While Obama and his ilk chastise Americans, belittling and demeaning them for the sin of not agreeing with them, Trump is listening and reflecting their concerns in the public square as it should be in a free and democratic society. The Obama administration, like the German government under Hitler, continues to push its agenda top-down. Unlike the German people who swallowed the propaganda from their leader, hook, line and sinker, Americans are fighting back. Calling them racists and labeling Trump a new Hitler, will not change their views. If anything it will led to more angst and greater division. In 2004 Obama said “There is not a liberal America and a conservative America, there is the United States of America. There is not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America, there’s the United States of America.” Under his leadership America is more divided than ever before. Race relations are at an all-time low. As I write this I am watching reports on the assassination of police in Dallas by a black man who came to hate whites. All this happening under the watchful eye of the first black President. Obama promised hope and change. He delivered on the change; but hope, hope is suffering.
