Propane explosion in Toronto, Mistresses and Monsters

I tried to get close to the site of the massive propane explosion in the Keele and Wilson district of northwest Toronto without much success this morning. The area surrounding the Sunrise Propane Industrial Gasses on Murray Rd., which is largely residential, has suffered extensive damage with windows and doors being blown right out of their framework up to a kilometer away.

An evacuation of area residents has been underway since the 4 a.m. explosion. The one thing that weighs on my mind about this entire incident is who allowed a propane plant to operate in such close proximity to residential homes and schools. The city will have to answer a lot of questions over this dangerous occurrence. The area surrounding the explosion site will most likely be shut down for days to come and the damage caused will likely be in the millions. My prayers go out to all residents and employees close to the massive destruction site, and to all emergency personnel who fought to keep the fire under control. I am so sick of the puritanical hogwash of our North American attitudes concerning men of powers dalliances and affairs with women other than their wives. I just sat through several nauseating hours of CNNs Wolf Blitzer reporting on the social and political ramifications of former Presidential candidate John Edward's dalliance with some semi hot blonde producer. I'm telling you the truth, in Europe and Asia men of power and or money are expected to have their mistresses and in most cases their wives are not only aware of the entire relationship but approve of it. I remember when former French President Francois Mitterrand kicked the can several years ago; his mistress and their child were front and center at the burial along with his legal wife and their family. And Edwards whining of his indiscretion is equally as pathetic. I'm just waiting for him to pull Jimmy Swaggart and break down bawling and asking God to forgive his sins on nationwide TV. We have a hell of a lot more important happenings in the world than this claptrap that has dominated the airwaves these past few days. Speaking of semi-hot blondes, I have to admit that Paris Hilton's video response to John McCain's political ads comparing Obama's public popularity to the adulation of media stars was pretty funny and well made. The only thing that scares the hell out of me is that if Paris can release a political video, I hope that doesn't mean that we are about to see the release of a McCain sex tape. Mind you Cindy isn't bad and you know that she always has an endless supply of beer. Hot, rich with beer, I can't understand why he would want to be President. He's living in Shangri-La. I wonder if she has any inclinations towards big blonde moronic Polacks. I just happen to be acquainted with one. With the media continuing to fawn over Democratic candidate Barack Obama, a disturbing fact may have become apparent to the Chicago senators campaign team, and that is that even with so much money being spent on his campaign and all the slick p.r and big time support he's receiving, why is the election virtually at a deadlock? Here's a headline that you thought you would never read. Singer and American Idol winner Clay Aiken just became a father! I guess by now just about everyone has seen the pictures or video of the Montauk Monster, an ugly bloated naked but well endowed creature that washed up on the south shore of Long Island. With everyone arguing about what the origin of the mystery animal is, I'm ready to announce to the world that the Jimmy Hoffa disappearance has now been solved. Until next time
