Sorry Folks. Hillary “Misspoke”

If not for people taking Senator Clinton to task on what many of us consider a bold-faced lie, it would still be floating around out there to this day. But when it started to take on a life of it's own, it would appear the Clinton presidential campaign felt it was time for a "clarification". So Hillary got someone else to fess up for her…

It is possible in the most recent instance in which she discussed this that she misspoke in regard to the exit from the plane, but there is no question if you look at contemporaneous accounts that she was going to a potential combat zone, that she was on the front lines. – Howard Wolfson, Clinton campaign spokesman

Being a Clinton spokesperson must be a sucky job, considering you spend most of your time answering for yet another situation where one of them "misspoke", or we all just heard what they said wrong. According to the New York Times (better late than never),

Asked at a later point in the call to clarify his comment, Mr. Wolfson said that news accounts at the time made clear that the area in which she was landing was “a potential combat zone and was hazardous.” He said that in her memoir, “Living History,” she wrote about sniper fire in the hills and “clearly meant to say that” when she brought it up last week. He said she had described the event many times the same way and that “in one instance she said it slightly differently.”

When you take the truth and say it "slightly different" than it was before, it is no longer the truth. It is a lie, and as usual with that, Hillary Clinton will skate. In watching the video when she gave her pathological "account" of the Bosnia trip, former Clinton Administration Army Secretary Togo West clearly backed up Mrs. Clinton's version of the events on the ground. Did Togo West also "misspeak"? Remember, in order to make a lie stick, everyone has to be on the same page. That's the problem with lies. Should Hillary Clinton get into the White House, either as president or veep, we'll have to look forward to four more years of this #. I keep using that word because to use another would be to misspeak. I guess it all depends on what your definition of "sniper" is….
