It is now official; after Mayor John Tory (aka Johnny Short Pants) whined Canada’s largest city has a “climate emergency,” city council voted unanimously that we in this city indeed have a crisis. This was accompanied by the usual claptrap about having zero carbon emissions in 2050, a year in which the current city mothers will be out of office, some of them dead.
Of course we can write this off as mere virtue signalling and not do anything to immediately attempt to deal with this crisis. But those who care about the city can and should take immediate steps to combat this emergency. And there is something that can be done.

We are constantly being told what the cause of this climate catastrophe is. As with the Soylent Green the population will undoubtedly end up eating to save the planet, “it’s people.” In order to fight this emergency, we simply have to reduce the number of people in the city. That’s what the left’s beloved consensus of bought off scientists say.
So how do we do this? Well luckily we have already taken steps to reduce the population. Since Canada has no abortion laws, terminating pregnancies helps reduce, in the words of Scrooge, “the surplus population.” And on the other end of the age spectrum Canada is now endowed with assisted suicide laws. Those who really want to help can go to a “free” doctor and begin the process of being put down.

One by one or one by two, slowly but surely, the city is decreasing its gangbanger population and that of course helps ease the climate emergency. Nothing is done to try and reduce the killings other than the constant whining about taking away the guns of law abiding residents.
Even Ontario’s Premier, Doug Ford, is doing his part to fight climate change by reducing the population of Canada’s largest city. After making cuts in an attempt to prevent the province from being the most indebted sub-sovereign entity in the world, he has taken a lot of heat for doing what he promised he would do. Dr. Eileen de Villa, Toronto’s Chief Medical Officer of Health said Ford’s cuts would kill people. See, even the conservative premier is helping to reduce the population to save the planet and of course his province and its capital. What is hard to understand though is even though he is helping to stem climate change by killing people, they still don’t like him. He’s not living up to the motto of the left, “A chicken in every pot and a safe injection site on every block.”
To sum up, pretty well everything that could be done to reduce the population in Toronto and thereby fight man-made climate change has been done
Toronto has a lot of immigrants both legal and illegal. It has been said Canada has more immigrants per capita than any other country. The number of illegals has increased since January 2017 when Donald Trump attempted to keep out immigrants from certain countries. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was not impressed. The twit tweeted the people who Trump was trying to bar from the United States were welcome to come to Canada. And come they did; fleeing the abominable persecution they were facing in places such as Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Let’s face it; when people decide to come to Canada they say they want to come to a major city. It is doubtful anyone in war-torn Syria says they want to flee their country so they can live out their days in Dildo, NL or Wawa, Ontario. They all want to come to one of the big cities. And unlike the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto is Number One in this.
But we really can’t stop immigrants, both legal and illegal, coming into the country. If we’ve have learned nothing else from Trudeau it is that stopping any person from entering the country is racist. Nope, we can’t reduce the number of people in Toronto by cutting down immigration.
To sum up, pretty well everything that could be done to reduce the population in Toronto and thereby fight man-made climate change has been done. We abort babies, help people off themselves, and pretty well do nothing to stop gangbangers from killing each other and the occasional innocent bystander. Ontario even elected a premier whose promised cuts are said to be killing people. Since it would be racist to stop immigration what else can possibly be done?

The city has a climate emergency: we’re going to die if Americans and others keep coming here
There is only one other thing the city can do--we have to discourage tourists from coming to Toronto and adding to the problem. Now in fairness, the politicians have already done a lot to discourage tourism. There is total gridlock on the streets. If you can manage to drive the speed limit, you can hold your breath until you reach construction; it ain’t impossible or even difficult. And if tourists think they will come to Toronto for a weekend and get around on the subway, they should think again. Weekends usually find portions of the subway lines closed for repairs.
Tourists, especially those driving in from the US need to stay away. They’re helping to kill people. The city has a climate emergency: we’re going to die if Americans and others keep coming here.
After all the mayor and councillors can’t be wrong about this deadly emergency. Can they?
