Most of the media absolutely despises President-Elect Donald Trump, so today's press conference was always going to be a wild one. However, given the array of bizarre and increasingly bogus stories that broke overnight, I think we can safely assume the intensity has been ramped up considerably.
A quick look at Trump's twitter feed reveals a guy who is, to put it mildly, angry about the unsubstantiated allegations - and outright hoaxes – that Buzzfeed decided to run as "news." The press has seized on the story, and Trump's reaction, even though they seem to be aware of its shaky nature.
So, we should expect some fireworks. Trump, after all, rarely backs down and loves taking a fight to the media.
