We need McCain and Palin to win!

When is the leftist media and Obama camp going to jump into Governor Sarah Palin’s underwear drawer? The smear machine on the Obama/Media left has all but gone for that. Its just a matter of time before they demand that information. Lets see, her private email has been hacked, her daughter maligned, her quality record poked into then lied about, her prenatal choices attacked, she’s a racist, an extreme evangelical Christian, has too little experience, on and on

Frankly, I find McCain’s choice for V.P. a refreshing window of God’s mercy on America and the confused and distorted G.O.P. Governor Palin has a real track record of conservatism, common sense and standing up for ethics. She has shown mercy and love with her daughter’s pregnancy out of wedlock, shown courage taking on her own political party and budget sensitivity and outstanding priorities by turning down funds for the bridge to nowhere. Her ego is in check and she actually serves. What a concept. I am concerned about Obama and McCain’s track record of globalism. However, they are light years apart when it comes to raising taxes, gun rights, morals, abortion issues, education and approaching national security. Obama reads like a poster child for Marxism, compromise, tax increases and abortion rights. McCain is at least listening and has paid attention to his conservative base by choosing a REAL conservative and REAL woman for his V.P. McCain seems to be listening, rather than just compromising as he has sometimes done and we need McCain and Sarah Palin to win. There will be enormous cost to this country should Obama win. I know there are excellent men running as Independents but don’t forget this point. No one running will represent everything we want. What do we do then? We make sure whoever gets elected to the office of President hears from us via phone, fax and email. Sometimes we act like the congress and President have all the power and manipulate our lives. Folks, we still have a republic and our vote and opinions shared with our leaders put pressure on them to represent us well. Even if they are just operating out of ego, they still want power and to keep their job so they will listen. Excellent leadership and a regular display of constitutional priorities have at times been missing from our various Presidents and congress. This is not because of our congress and Presidents. It is largely because we have not used the other and most powerful arm of Government, our collective voice! We get depressed. We get horrified and disappointed. We don’t vote. We say the country is going to hell and disappear into stupidville. Whatever you do this time around, don’t disappear…….vote wisely.
