What Happens When the Grid Goes Down

What Happens When the Grid Goes DownAs if the complete — and inevitable — collapse of Venezuela’s disastrous socialist experiment were not bad enough, the long-suffering population there is now five days into a near-total collapse of its electric grid.

People are increasingly desperate for the most basic necessities of life, most especially water.

CCRKBA, SAF . Question Congressional Motives Behind NRA Investigations

BELLEVUE, WA – Reports that the National Rifle Association is being engulfed in what one publication described as “a rapidly expanding tangle of congressional investigations” raise an important question that nobody has been asking: Is this a deliberate effort by anti-gun-rights Congressional Democrats to overwhelm the organization’s leadership and prevent NRA from fulfilling its mission to protect the Second Amendment?

CCRKBA Says House Passage of Gun Control Measure Will Not Prevent Crime

BELLEVUE, WA – Passage of H.R. 8 today by the U.S. House of Representatives confirms that extremist gun control is more important to the anti-gun leadership than making meaningful efforts to reduce violent crime, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said.

SAF Files Federal Lawsuit Challenging Second Amendment Enforcement Practices

BELLEVUE, WA — The Second Amendment Foundation today filed suit in federal district court seeking to have federal and state laws preventing persons who, at one time in their lives, were subject to a mental health “hold” on the exercise of their Second Amendment rights overturned on the grounds that the way those laws and regulations are enforced are in violation of the Constitution.

The lawsuit is asking the court to declare that a section of federal law governing this issue, along with all derivative regulations and all laws, policies and procedures violate the Second Amendment, and the plaintiffs’ due process rights under the Fifth and/or Fourteenth amendments. It was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Timeline of the ISIS Bride

Timeline of the ISIS Bride, Hoda MuthanaPJMedia: The Rosett Report

What are we to make of the ISIS bride who now wants to return to America? Hoda Muthana left her home in Alabama in 2014 to join the terrorist “caliphate” of ISIS in Syria. Now, reportedly thrice-married to ISIS terrorists, twice-widowed, and recently arrived with her 18-month-old son at a Kurdish-run refugee camp in northern Syria, she says she “deeply regrets” joining ISIS, and wants to come back to the United States.

Modern Day School Shootings: What is the actual root of the problem?

Modern Day School Shootings: What is the actual root of the problem? What is the primary cause for what we are seeing in the past 35 years with school shootings?

A) Prior to 1947, child raising was by role modeling parent’s strict upbringing, high expectations, moralist traditions, religious guidance, patterned family’s generations. The belt, wooden spoon, often the hand was commonly used in daily spankings.

B) 1947 Dr. Spock published his book on Child rearing, within a decade a perceptible change began to develop in American families. Under Spock’s influence, parents watched their children become sassy, contentious; increasing numbers became juvenile delinquents and criminals. Over the last 50 years this out-of-control behavior has led to a 300 percent increase in rate of violent crime, school shootings included.

UnAmerican “American” wants to come back

UnAmerican American wants to come backTo what purpose does Hoda Muthana really want readmittance to the United States? To live the good life or to do her part to undermine the government that guarantees it?

Once a person claiming citizenship abandons their claim by joining forces (literally) with an enemy, they have renounced any possible privilege of returning to that nation. And this is precisely where the “ISIS bride” stands.

To begin with, Muthana, although born in New Jersey to a foreign national who, at the time, was just released from the Yemeni diplomatic corps, and her attorney are under the misapprehension that she was ever a bona fide U.S. citizen.

Could the same thing happen in Canada?

Could the same thing happen in Canada?AURORA, Ill. - An initial background check failed to detect a felony conviction that should have barred the man who killed five co-workers and wounded six other people at a suburban Chicago manufacturing plant from buying the gun. Months later, a second background check of Gary Martin found his 1995 aggravated assault conviction in Mississippi involving the stabbing of an ex-girlfriend. But it prompted only a letter stating his gun permit had been revoked and ordering him to turn over his firearm to police—raising questions about the state’s enforcement to ensure those who lose their permits also turn over their weapons. (The Star—Aurora Shooter’s Permit was Revoked but Gun Wasn’t Seized, Feb.17, 2019)

Stop Medieval Diseases With a Medieval Wall

Stop Medieval Diseases With a Medieval WallThe media recently reported that Los Angeles County’s ongoing typhus epidemic had infected Deputy City Attorney Liz Greenwood.

“Who gets typhus? It’s a medieval disease that’s caused by trash,” she wondered.

Greenwood is partially correct. The typhus outbreak, like the hepatitis outbreak, was directly caused by social justice policies that legalized public vagrancy, and leaving trash and human waste on sidewalks. The piles of trash, human waste and people combine to create horrifying diseased conditions. Before Greenwood, many Los Angeles patients who had been diagnosed with typhus were indeed homeless.

2,000 Muslim Immigration Child Marriage Cases in 10 Years

2,000 Muslim Immigration Child Marriage Cases in 10 YearsNaila Amin was only thirteen years old when she was married off to her Pakistani first cousin twice her age who beat and raped her. “He dragged me about twenty feet - the whole length of the house - by my hair,” she relates. “He began kicking me in the head and it was so hard I saw stars.”

She described how, “My mother would watch my husband and my father kick me together in the head.”

Even though Nalia was a United States citizen, she was engaged to be married when she was eight years old. And at thirteen, her application to bring her rapist to the United States was approved by USCIS.

Illegal Immigrants Who Stabbed Classmate “Previously Confirmed as MS-13 Gang Members”

Three illegal immigrant public high school students who recently attacked and stabbed a classmate in New York were “previously confirmed as MS-13 gang members” by local police, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office. Two of them had been detained by federal authorities and released by a judge.

Days before they attacked a fellow student, a mainstream newspaper targeted their high school for helping deport an illegal alien suspected of belonging to the same violent street gang. Conveniently, the newspaper failed to report the violent stabbing after blasting the school for removing a suspected gang member just days earlier. The hit piece criticized the Trump administration’s MS-13 crackdown for destroying the “American dreams of immigrant teenagers around the country.”

A New National Security Strategy for America

After the Cold War, what is the biggest threat to America? The debate between Obama and Romney famously bogged down over the question of whether Russia was our biggest geopolitical foe. While Obama slammed Romney’s answer as a Cold War relic, after losing the next election, his party defines its foreign policy and domestic opposition around the fear that Russia is now more of a threat than ever.

Answers by other politicians have ranged from the structural, the national debt and internal divisions, to the inanimate and absurd; Bernie Sanders’ claim that global warming is our top national security threat. But assessments that name conditions rather than threat vectors are unhelpful because even when they are right, they tell us to address a weakness or failure, rather than meeting an external threat.
