Sylvia Thompson

Sylvia Thompson is a black conservative writer whose aim is to counter the liberal spin on issues pertaining to race and culture. Ms. Thompson is a copy editor by trade currently residing in Tennessee. She formerly wrote for the Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley California Newsletter and the online conservative blog ChronWatch, also out of California. She grew up in Southeast Texas during the waning years of Jim Crow-era legalized segregation, and she concludes that race relations in America will never improve, nor will we ever elevate our culture, as long as there are victims to be pandered to and villains to be vilified. America is better served without victims or villains.

He was reported to have said that nobody reads the party platform. That may have been the case in the past, but if this one is ignored, there will be consequences to pay (2016 Republican National Platform).

Trump and Pence: Looking Forward

Now that the suspense is over and Donald Trump has indeed clinched the Republican nomination to run for the 45th President of the United States of America, I find it helpful, as a biblical Christian, to assess the landscape going forward.

Donald Trump and Gonzalo Curiel

Every mature, intelligent person in this country knows that the judge in the Trump University case, United States District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, could very well be biased against Donald Trump, the one man who has the testicular fortitude to declare that he will build a wall on the Mexican border. Judge Curiel is of Mexican heritage.
