Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor:
Read the Egyptian book of the dead, you'll find the nine commandments there. This was written long before Moses was made up. Not everyone in the world is christian, why should we be forced to use an outdated calendar that now has all the seasons wrong. Why should we have christianity forced on us. Every thing in the bible is also in the more ancient religions. They've just been recycled.

Dear Editor:
I just read your article on the 13 months calendar and I am shocked. I hope there is some actively opposing group in the UN against this insane plan.
You are a wonderful journalist to report this and please 'keep an eye' on suchlike arrogant UN ideas.
Kind regards,

Magdalena
Dear Editor:
I JUST READ YOUR STORY ABOUT THE U.N. AND THE CALENDAR,AND TO ME IT WAS QUITE AN EYE OPENER.............
TOO MANY THINGS GOING ON AND NO ONE IS BEING TOLD, IS THERE A TIME FRAME WITH WHEN THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY WILL PUT ALL IN PLACE??
I'M AFRAID GORBACHEV AND MR.STRONG WILL HAVE A HARD TIME CONVINCING THE WORLD TO STRIKE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS...BUT MAYBE NOT,I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN HERE IN MINNESOTA (6000 POP.) I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 63 YEARS AND THEY ARE (EVEN HERE) TAKE INGOUT THE 10 COMMANDMENTS.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR STORY AND YOUR TIME.

REGARDS,
JOHANN DOHMANN
Dear Editor:
Although it may seem irreligious to change our existing calendar for a 'pagan' version, I think that the case made by Dr. Arguelles is quite strong and a change would in fact help the cause of world peace.
We are in a cultural war right now and if a neutral calendar were to be instituted, it would show all cultures involved that they are ready to give something up of theirs for the common good of all.
The most overiding reason however is common sense. There are 13 months in the natural year (13 x 28).

Dear Editor:
So, in your view, anyone who is not a believer in Jesus Christ is an "occultist" (your name for the UN)?
