Hillary: Those Russians I did that re-set with are acting like Nazis

Don't liberals have some dumbass notion they talk about on the Internet called "Godwin's Law"? Yes. They do. In their never-ending quest to make up the rules of engagement to suit them, "Godwin's Law" states that once you mention Adolf Hitler or Nazis in a discussion, the discussion is over and you have lost.

Obama budget proposal: Let's spend $4 trillion next year!

To hear Barack Obama tell it, the federal government has been subsisting on a starvation diet in recent years. But then, that's the Keynesian liberal's excuse for why the economy isn't growing. Growth comes from federal spending in their universe, and even though we spent more than 20 percent of GDP during these so-called "austerity" years, it's never enough. So now Obama wants to spend us to the brink of $4 trillion, a record for federal outlays, in 2015.

Liberal blowhard Alan Grayson accused of shoving wife into door

I guess we need to say up front that there are two sides to every story, and Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson denies that he shoved his wife. He also has purported eyewintesses (although, granted, they work for him) who presume to corroborate his denial.

Pattern: Obama warns of consequences; there are none

Please make a note the next time you think about voting for a presidential candidate because you like the way his speeches sound. Politicians who have a gift for saying things well don't necessarily have a gift for doing those same things well, or at all, and that becomes a pretty serious problem when the politician becomes president and his words put him in a box from which he is not prepared to extricate himself with action.

VIDEO: Not many cheers at the Oscars when Matthew McConaughey thanks God

Some folks are pretty excited today over the fact that Matthew McConaughey, in his acceptance speech for the Best Actor award at the Oscars last night, thanked God. I didn't watch the Oscars - I would rather watch a documentary on toenail clipping than an awards show of any kind - but I saw enough comments about it on Facebook that I thought the clip would be worth checking out. It was, and not just for what McConaughey says.

Obama has no idea what to do as Putin seizes Crimea

I think conservatives need to take a breath when it comes to the lionization of Vladimir Putin. If your objective is to show how hapless Barack Obama is by contrasting him with his geopolitical adversary, then yeah, Putin is clearly 12 steps ahead of Obama and quick to seize on the opportunities provided by Obama's frequent strategic mistakes and poor instincts.

NSA enjoying quite a show thanks to your webcams

So you're up late at night, web-chatting on Yahoo with someone in another part of town, or another part of the country - or world. Now you two - being the naughty types - start taking things in a risque direction. Hey. It's just the Internet, right? Who's going to see?

Harry Reid to endless parade of ObamaCare victims: You're all liars!

To be Harry Reid means that you are shameless enough to say absolutely anything. Truth is no barrier. Credibility is not an issue. If you can come up with words that could serve as an instrument to bludgeon your enemies, then you say those words. It matters not if they are a total lie. Why would Harry Reid care about that? He doesn't.

WSJ's Kim Strassel: Obama using IRS abuse scandal to expand IRS abuse

You didn't really think the attention on IRS abuse of conservative groups - not from the MSM, of course, but from plenty of other sources - would actually result in the stopping of the abuse. Did you? Because that's not how things work in the era of Obama. Now, when a scandal comes to light, the White House takes action - the action being to make the abuse even worse. All in the name of fixing the problem it insists does not exist, of course. The Wall Street Journal's Kim Strassel explains how new IRS rules since the scandal broke have actually subjected conservative groups to more egregious abuse:

John Dingell: A power-mad bully finally ends his reign of terror

When you’ve relied on a bully to protect you for more than a half-century, I suppose you could start to confuse the bully’s self-serving protection racket for something virtuous. So it seems we can best explain Michigan’s swooning praise of Congressman John Dingell, who apparently has decided congressmen should not serve too many terms lest they become taken with their own power.

VIDEO: Cancer patient shows up at Gary Peters's house to ask why he's trying to silence her

Wow. Now it's getting real. Julie Boonstra, a cancer patient under attack by Democrat Gary Peters and the liberal media for publicly telling the story of her ObamaCare nightmare, has no intention of backing down. Yesterday Boonstra showed up at Peters's house, intending to ask why he is trying to silence her. No one answered the door, of course, and she left a note.

VIDEO: Anderson Cooper's dishonest rant against Arizona religious freedom bill

First let's understand exactly what's contained in the bill sponsored by Republican State Sen. Al Melvin of Arizona. He is not looking to legalize blatant discrimination against homosexuals. He is seeking to correct an apparent anomaly in the law that sees judges and civil rights commissions telling Christian bakeries and photographers that they must bake cakes and photograph gay weddings, even though the very notion is antithetical to their faith.

Leukemia patient defends herself against Democrat Gary Peters, liberal media allies

It's tough being Julie Boonstra these days, and battling leukemia might be the easy part. It's bad enough that she saw her health insurance cancelled because of ObamaCare. But now that she's appeared in an anti-ObamaCare ad sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, she's become a target not only for Democrat Congressman Gary Peters (who wants to be her senator), but even more so his liberal media allies.

Ambassador to Russia resigns as 're-set' continues to work out swimmingly

Michael McFaul was supposed to be the quintessential Obama-style diplomat, heading to Russia with gobs of academic credentials and using all his smarts to woo the Russians into love for Barack Obama and America, just like Obama's charm was supposed to work on all the rest of us. Less than two years later, the Russians can hardly contain their glee at McFaul's exit. And another one of Hillary Clinton's grand achievements as Secretary of State continues to reveal itself as the utter disaster it is. NBC News, really, reports:

Nikki Haley to unions: Stay out of South Carolina

To listen to much of the mainstream media, you'd think South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was waging war on unemployed workers, telling those who could have brought them job opportunities to stay out of the state in the service of her ideological predelictions. But Nikki Haley is a lot smarter than that. She can see the destruction wrought by unions in the Rust Belt, not to mention way the federal government tends to put its thumb on the scales to give unions more power once they've shown up.

Caracas-based blogger: Venezuela has imploded, video shows cops shooting civilians

There is a scandal in the United States, and this one is not about anything the government has done. This one is squarely on the media, which is virtually ignoring what's going on in Venezuela. There, the population is rising up en masse against the socialist government of Nicolas Maduro - the successor to the late anti-American strongman Hugo Chavez.
