Destroying the Economy

We are told the unemployment rate is working its way down to 8%. The real unemployment rate is well over 10%, and the U-6 is pushing 20%. In April the number of people not in the labor force rose by 522,000 from 87,897,000 to 88,419,000. This is the highest on record. Yet, despite that number, the unemployment rate dropped to 8.1% because the labor force participation rate dipped to a new 30 year low of 64.3%.

Shutting Down Christianity One Commandment at a Time

Liberal disdain for all things Christian, and the desire to remove all vestiges of Christianity from public view so as to pack the Christian faith into the four walls of the church, and no place else, is nothing new. The American Civil Liberties Union has been one of those organizations at the forefront of limiting biblical exposure to the general public.

Political Extortion of America

One of these days Americans will either realize the treachery of the parties, or fail to make the hard decision for liberty and enable the completion of the transformation of this nation into something the Founding Fathers never intended. One of these days Americans will realize they have been so conditioned to believe that the politicians are a ruling elite that they will demand a return to a day when the politicians were servants of the people, or the transition to slavery will be complete. One of these days Americans will decide that the political games the statists play is extortion, or they will become the very peasant class the elitists are orchestrating into existence.

Romney’s Tax-The-Rich Formula

Mitt Romney has cleared the path, and is on his way to securing the Republican Party nomination for President of the United States. The "Anyone but Romney" crowd has been arguing that Mitt is not conservative, and in fact is not a whole lot different from Obama. At this point even Elmer Fudd would be better than Obama, and many of the Republican voters have been willing to overlook much of Romney's shortcomings with the belief that despite Mitt's inability to be conservative at his core, at least the guy is trying to pull us back from the brink Obama has been pushing us towards at break-neck speed. . .

Liberal Left War on Women and Motherhood Reveals Itself Through Hilary Rosen

Individualism is dangerous to authoritarian ideologies like American Liberalism, Communism, Socialism, Fascism, and the list goes on. In order to be able to properly control the populace the people must be broken down into a homogeneous mass where individual thought, actions, and relationships are eliminated. The emphasis is placed on community over the individual.

Supreme Court Rules Against EPA in Idaho Wetlands Case

Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 of the United States Constitution indicates that State land belongs to the States, and if the federal government is to have any control over State land by taking possession, or otherwise, the land must be purchased by the federal government, and the State legislature must give its permission.

Christian Teacher Fired for Unwed Pregnancy, Loses Health Care

The liberal left is foaming at the mouth. They've got us now, they are supposing. After all, the liberal media just got a twofer, getting a chance to hammer on a Christian school while defending Obamacare all at the same time. That's right, the liberal media has once again pulled out the "that's not very Christian of you" card, while simultaneously defending their health-care-for-all mantra.

Statism Needs Division

Statism, American liberalism, communism, socialism, fascism, or any other authoritarian ism you can think of, is not popular on its face, so it must force its way into our lives, even using deception to make the people desire it. Crisis fuels the desire by the people for the government to "gain control" of everything. But in order for the ruling elite to be able to ride in on their prized stallion to save the day, their must be division, so that the liberal statist can claim they are hear to resolve that division. . .

Obama, Health Care, and the Nine Supreme Court Justices

"The truth is, that, even with the most secure tenure of office, during good behavior, the danger is not, that the judges will be too firm in resisting public opinion, and in defence of private rights or public liberties; but, that they will be ready to yield themselves to the passions, and politics, and prejudices of the day." --Joseph Story Judicial Review is unconstitutional. The Constitution gives that authority to the federal courts nowhere within the text of the document. John Marshall's opinion inMarbury v. Madisonseized that power for the courts. However, the Supreme Court's opinion of a law, through the use of Judicial Review, is not a completely worthless thing, either. Constitutionally, the lower courts respect the opinions of the higher courts, and rule in accordance. In other words, if the Supreme Court rules Obamacare unconstitutional, it does not strike down the law, but it will neuter it as far as the courts are concerned.

Rowing the Raft Away from Destruction

"Man, once surrendering his reason, has no remaining guard against absurdities the most monstrous, and like a ship without rudder, is the sport of every wind. With such persons, gullibility, which they call faith, takes the helm from the hand of reason and the mind becomes a wreck." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Smith, 1822

Child Bullied and Mocked For Standing Up For Pledge of Allegiance in Classroom

In the Constitution Classes I lead in Temecula and Murrieta, we stand for the Pledge of Allegiance before each session. The adults in my class all participate happily, and they recite the Pledge firmly and with conviction. Sometimes, after we are finished, I tell the students that I am especially proud of the Pledge of Allegiance, because it is evidence of how great this country truly is. It was created to destroy us, and the greatness of the people of America turned the Pledge into something that unites us. . . or at least it used to.

Progressive Monetary Policy and the Hate The Rich Ploy

The liberal left acts like they hate the wealthy, so they play this game where their goal is to tax the rich, punish the rich, and get you to vote for them because those liberal politicians are willing to side with you in your hatred of those awful rich people.

Will It Take Revolution?

"A little matter will move a party, but it must be something great that moves a nation." --Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1792 In my Constitution Classes I teach that we have four tools on our tool belt for taking back America. Those tools were provided by the Founding Fathers through the instruction booklet for taking back this nation, the United States Constitution.

Media’s Commentary On Obamacare Case Does Not Matter

The oral arguments in the Supreme Court of the United States are finally finished regarding the Health Care Law. It has been clear that the conservative justices will probably vote against Obamacare, and the liberal judges will rule in favor of it. And in the end, it will probably all come down to Kennedy's vote.

School Bans Best Friends To Protect Children’s Feelings

In Merry Ol' England the drive to not offend, or allow anybody to suffer the horrible consequence of hurt feelings, has reached an even more ridiculous height of insanity. With the socialist idea of collectivism urging on the mind-numbed followers of repackaged Marxism, in British schools children in elementary schools are being encouraged to only play in large groups.

Coming Supreme Court Clash Over Obamacare

As we march toward the day that the United States Supreme Court takes on the Obamacare case, it has become pretty clear that the whole decision is going to come down to Justice Anthony Kennedy. Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, John Roberts, and Antonin Scalia are commonly referred to as the conservative judges, and all of them, including Kennedy, were appointed by Republican Presidents. Ruth Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan are considered to be liberal judges, and were appointed by Democrats. Kennedy's decision to rule with the conservatives, or the liberals, changes from ruling to ruling.

Israel: Land for Peace Fails

Czechoslovakia stood in the way of German expansion in 1938. Europe feared German aggression, and Britain opted for appeasement. Propaganda was used to convince Europe that the Germans in Czechoslovakia were being treated unfairly. The German army conducted maneuvers near the Czech border. The Czechs ordered partial mobilization. Hitler threatened to invade Czechoslovakia. The allies feared that a military confrontation between Germany and Czechoslovakia would drag all of Europe into a new world war. Hitler addressed the people, renewing his demands for the Sudetenland, the part of Czechoslovakia that served as home to German speakers.

United States is a Center-Right Country

When the United States of America was established only a third of the population supported the drive for independence, and the American Revolution. Another third were loyalists to the British Crown. The remainder could care less on who won the war, just as long as their lives changed very little.

“Exceptional”

The definition of Exceptionalism is, “The condition of being exceptional or unique; The theory or belief that something, especially a nation, does not conform to a pattern or norm.” [1] In other words, to be exceptional is to be truly unique, and to be the exception to the rule.
