Jim ONeill


Born June 4, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1974 in both UDT-21 (Underwater Demolition Team) and SEAL Team Two. Worked as a commercial diver in the waters off of Scotland, India, and the United States. Worked overseas in the Merchant Marines. While attending the University of South Florida as a journalism student in 1998 was presented with the “Carol Burnett/University of Hawaii AEJMC Research in Journalism Ethics Award,” 1st place undergraduate division. (The annual contest was set up by Carol Burnett with money she won from successfully suing a national newspaper for libel). Awarded US Army, US Navy, South African, and Russian jump wings. Graduate of NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School, 1970). Member of Mensa, China Post #1, and lifetime member of the NRA and UDT/SEAL Association.

In this article I’ll finish discussing the HTBA (How to Take Back America) conference that I wrote about in my previous article.

On Saturday, the final day of the conference, speeches were given by Mike Huckabee, Phyllis Schlafly, Janet Porter, and House Representatives Michelle Bachman, Trent Franks, and Tom McClintock.

In any other venue, each of the talks that these individuals gave, would have been considered the keynote speech, and the highlight of the event.  At the HTBA conference however, there was a plethora of oratorical excellence.


Taking Back America

imageSt. Louis, Missouri—The How to Take Back America Conference got underway here today at the Frontenac Hilton.  It is sponsored by Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum, which she founded in 1967. 

This year’s assemblage has gathered together a number of different organizations with a unified focus of love for God and America.  It is the largest Eagle Forum convention ever held.

Things got underway early this afternoon with a prayer, and songs performed by Rick Heil, the lead singer for the popular contemporary Christian band, Sonic Flood.

The above words are taken from a letter that John Page wrote to Thomas Jefferson.  Page was referring to the first American Revolution.  We are now participating in the second American Revolution—and this one is every bit as important as the first. 

Page’s question remains a pertinent one. 

The left-wing has taken to disdainfully calling us several names: “Birth-ers” because we seek the truth about Obama’s legitimacy to be POTUS, and they call us “Death-ers” because we tell the truth about their plans for government-run abortion and euthanasia “clinics.”

Glenn Beck ought to get the Medal of Freedom, and Fox News deserves America’s heart-felt gratitude.  Without Fox News, and Beck in particular, we would largely be in the dark regarding what is transpiring in our country.

We are involved in a war.  It is a war between differing political ideologies, mind-sets, and world-views.  It is a war that has been going on for millennia, and it is now rushing towards a conclusion—or at least the end of the act.

imageDid you hear Nancy Pelosi say that the “astro-turf” mobs at the town hall meetings were wearing swastikas?  I understand the reference to astro-turf—because we are tough, resilient, and tenacious—but swastikas?  Please.

Hopefully, you have educated yourselves regarding fascism, and are aware that fascism is a doctrine that is embraced only by the Left.

Communist Russia, and Fascist Germany, were not the ideological polar-opposites that the Left has propagandized them as being for generations.  Fascism and Communism are similar collectivist doctrines.
