The Palestinians are reportedly preparing to present their bid for United Nations membership on September 20, 2011,with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas personally presenting the request to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. The request will come two days before the UN-hosted hatefest known as Durban III, where the misnamed UN World Conference Against Racism will be used to reaffirm the UN's previous defamation of Israel as a "racist" state.

The UN In Action: Treading Lightly On Syria While Stomping On Israel

After more than four months of silence regarding the ongoing civilian massacres in Syria that have taken at least 1600 lives, the United Nations Security Council finally issued an insipid "Presidential Statement" last week condemning "the widespread violations of human rights and the use of force against civilians by the Syrian authorities." Such statements are nothing more than feel-good declarations that have no legal effect. Syria's buddies on the Security Council - Russia and China - have made sure that no binding resolutions against Syria would pass.

The infamous Norwegian Vidkun Quisling, who assisted Nazi Germany as it conquered his own country, must be applauding in his grave. In the latest example of Norwegian collaboration with the enemies of the Jews, Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere declared during a press conference this week, alongside Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, that “Norway believes it is perfectly legitimate for the Palestinian president to turn to the United Nations” to seek recognition of an independent Palestinian state.
