Let's face it, if you build a new federal website with strict security measures, you'll just make it that much harder for your own intelligence agencies to collect data on law-abiding citizens. You wouldn't want that.

Remember when, on the heels of the disastrous Obamacare rollout, President Obama appeared in the White House Rose Garden? Everyone seemed to think he was going to apologize to the American people for the big, steaming, pile of "fail" he'd just dropped on them, but that's just not his style. Instead, the whole thing turned into a cheerleading event. He found a couple of people who'd allegedly managed to enroll, they stood behind him, and he told us how wonderful the system was. The early implosion, he claimed, was just a glitch.

Then it launched, and you looked like a complete sucker.

On TV, you have MSNBC. In print, there's the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. Like the President's favorite TV network, these two papers can be counted on to regurgitate - with an almost religious fervor - whatever pabulum the administration dictates.
