God, Family, Country

The world is upside down. Everything the United States and Western Civilization has stood for these past thousands of years, God, Family, Country is being tossed into a bin like so much garbage. And we are now reaping a harvest of calamity. Contrary to what the globalists may complain about, Western Civilization has given the world the Renaissance, the Reformation, the Industrial Revolution, the Scientific Revolution, the hunger for knowledge, Representative Democracy and Capitalism. It is our capitalist system and our God-given rights that have given much of the world a standard of living unparalleled anywhere. Where it is not practiced, people live without in tyranny. It is Western culture that is responsible for individualism, free speech, and the Great Commission to spread the knowledge of God to the world.

The Era of the Bonehead

It's Not About Trump

Did you ever wonder how it was possible for Trump to accomplish what he did in such a short time...low gas prices, low unemployment, especially for minorities, home ownership across the board at an all-time high, a renewed international respect for America, energy independence, a return of manufacturing, a rebuilt military, actual border security? Even China and North Korea took several steps back.

Think The Unthinkable

As a baby boomer, I was reared by parents that respected authority. They were parents of The Great Depression. My grandparents saw the Brooklyn Bridge being completed (or as my Italian grandmother would say...Brookalino) and were grateful and proud to be new Americans. They knew adversity and heartbreak. They laughed and they cried having lost two of their six children from disease, their eldest daughter to the Spanish Flu at 19, their youngest son from kidney disease at 14, their father (the grandfather I never knew) from an accident on their farm in Northern New Jersey. They taught us to respect authority, and we did, but, like many of our generation, with a healthy skepticism. Maybe because we were so much more educated (we weren't pre-occupied with putting food on the table). We knew of our founding fathers, demanding and fighting to the death, for what they were denied...our God-given natural rights to freedom, self-defense, personal property, free speech, shaping our own future.

The Real Threat to Democracy--The Emerging Democrat Police State

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia made headlines nationwide on February 3, 2014, after bluntly telling law students at the University of Hawaii that internment camps to detain Americans would eventually return. Acknowledging that the infamous Supreme Court-approved internment of Japanese-Americans in wretched camps during World War II was wrong, the conservative-leaning justice followed up by adding that “you are kidding yourself if you think the same thing will not happen again.” In “times of war,” Scalia said, citing a Latin expression attributed to Cicero, “the laws fall silent.”

No Longer Conspiracy

When John F. Kennedy became president, his first news conference, like so many, were filled with humor.  A reporter asked the new president if there were any surprises, anything he didn't anticipate as the new president.  Kennedy thought for a moment and said something like, "Well, our biggest surprise was finding everything was as bad as we said it was."  

Who Picks Fights You Can't Win?

The United States or more accurately, the Democrat Party, has been picking a fight with Russia for years. And now, we seem to be picking a fight with China as well. Why? When Trump was president, Russia was put on the shelf. Putin and Trump seemed to get along, at least they respected one another and knew the cost of adventurism. All was quiet.

January 6, The Jig Is Up

The January 6 demonstrations have been pushed hard onto the front pages of every legacy newspaper and TV network in the country. Except for only a few exceptions, the Left has control of their content. Because of that, Jan. 6 has long since ceased to show any proportionality. It has been compared to Pearl Harbor, 9/11, The French Revolution, even the rise of Hitler.

Resist The Terrible Darkness

A great man passed away on June 30, 2022. Dr. Vladimir "Zev" Zelenko was a Soviet immigrant at 3-years old, Hasidic Jew, board-certified family physician with over 20-years experience, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work in fighting COVID-19. Dr. Zelenko was also a freedom-fighter, unapologetic to the corrupt federal government and Big Pharma that worked in unison to prevent effective treatments from being administered. He also led a White House petition asking that Drs. Anthony Fauci, Birx, Redfield, and Bright be charged and brought to justice for "crimes against humanity/mass murder" for the blocking of those effective COVID treatments.

The Real Democrats--Who Are They?

The Democrats like to portray themselves as compassionate, defenders of democracy, civil rights, and the little people. They are, in reality, far from it.  Their history tells a bitter tale of racism, oppression, violence, and death.   Let's get beyond the hype, the puff, the lies. Democrats, as their namesake declares, are big on democracy.  That may sound nice, but we are not a democracy.  We are a Constitutional Republic, hence Republicans. By definition, democracy is mob rule.  The founders were very concerned that minorities of other political thought be represented, not ignored, unless, of course, the other political thought is of insurrection.

Aiming For The Iceberg

Whether by incompetence or design, it's plain that the Democrats are steering the ship-of-state toward an iceberg. What do you do when your own government begins to tear the country apart? What do you do when they take the greatest nation on earth, extraordinary in all of history, and decide to break the civic and social contract it made with its people 246 years ago? What do you do when this government creates crises as a national pastime?

Poking The Bear

For the last several years, the United States, along with NATO, has  been poking the Russian bear, apparently pushing for war with Russia. Why? When Trump was president it was Russia, Russia, Russia.  When Democrats found that Trump was actually getting along with Putin, they became further enraged, even though Trump was pushing NATO to pay its fair share and get more ground troops, ships, and planes ready for combat.  You know, getting NATO to do what it's supposed to do.

The Democrats know exactly what they are doing. We have entered a revolutionary time, much like Russia in the early 20th century, Germany in the 20s and 30s, or France in the 19th century. It is a dangerous time. There are no laws, rules, or discussion anyone is willing to apply that will cause it to cease. They have an agenda and a goal that is laser-focused on its completion. After the 2016 election, the Democrats were traumatized. They expected to win. They were told they were going to win. The press, the polling, the media convinced them that Hillary was a shoo-in. Their confidence could not have been higher. They were going to win. The polls were constructed to that end. They didn't wait for any election results. That was just formality.

Unfit For Our Own Government?

Our founders had much to say regarding what kind of people we need to be in order to have a successful experiment in self-government. They laid out a formula for success, tried and true, after thousands of years of social experimentation. Contrary to what many people would like to believe, mankind has not changed. There is no improved version. We still suffer the seven deadly sins of lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.

Crime has taken over major cities with career criminals freely roaming the streets. Corruption has become commonplace and no one is held to account. The FBI is no longer the revered institution it once was. Our borders no longer exist. Government is unresponsive. Our children are no longer being educated. We have lost trust in our election system and mass shootings are becoming frequent. To top it off, the current administration is scrambling to find a way to disarm citizens. All within the last 18 months.

It requires a series of well-designed global crises." -- Klaus Schwab, World Economic Forum Food processing plants and distribution centers are now burning to a crisp in rapid succession, a peculiar trend that has been growing since 2021. Just in the last weeks the U.S. has seen Taylor Farms, a packaged salad plant in Salinas, California, burn to a crisp; and the Azure Standard headquarters, “the nation’s premier independent distributor of organic and healthy food,” also was burned to smithereens.

My Answer To A Letter

Answering a Letter to the Editor is a departure from my normal charge, but this letter had to be countered, especially on this Memorial Day weekend. I guess I could have answered in the usual Letters column, but decided it was too important to have on the back page. The Stand Up America US Foundation newsletter, besides our direct emailing to thousands of our subscribers around the world, appears intact and separately in other publications. Several days ago, we received a letter at 2:04 am local time from one of our favorites, Canada Free Press (CFP), in response to our article, Eve of Destruction. CFP is a fabulous medium, spreading love of God, America, and freedom in both America and Canada and, no doubt, around the world.
