For the last two-and-a-half years and continuing to this day, there has been a false story being perpetrated that is still believed by a large number of Americans.
The false story is that President Trump was elected only because Russians convinced enough of us to vote for him and beat Hillary Clinton and that the President, ever since he was elected, answers to the beck and call of Russian leaders and even Vladimir Putin himself.

Several people now have pled or been convicted of crimes because they associated with Trump. Michael Cohen even pled guilty to a bundle of crimes that include non-crimes. If Flynn, Cohen, and Manafort had not associated with Donald Trump, no charges would ever have been brought against them.

If the GW Bush administration had the CIA director and people in the FBI and Department of Justice spying on and investigating the Obama campaign throughout 2008 for unspecified illegal acts that were still unspecified two years later (no proof of anything illegal, just “connect the dots”), I’m certain the Democrats would not have been saying the Obama administration exceeded its authority by investigating alleged malfeasance and abuse of power by individuals in the Bush administration.
While not knowing, at the time, the extent to which President Trump’s FBI Director was conspiring against him, James Comey was fired by the President on the recommendation of the Attorney General’s office. The firing of Comey was not obstruction of justice but part of an effort to stop what we now know to be an unconstitutional effort to conspire to overthrow the President of the United States.
The American Left, their subordinate Democrat Party, and their media outlets, the mainstream media, have been wholly functioning in the tradition of Pravda and Communist Party centralized decision-making for several years now.
President Trump tweeted: “Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!”
