President Trump's agenda is the people's agenda, but he is meeting resistance from Congressional Democrats, RINOs and the negative liberal media at every turn. They call it the resistance movement. We call it the political swamp, because it works against legislative support for anything and everything the administration wants to accomplish The only bright spots have been the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and the successful rollback of many Obama-era regulations. Since then, many of President Trump's judicial nominations have been stuck in the Senate and they can't get out.
Repealing and replacing Obamacare was promised but failed in the Senate. The president has proposed a bold tax cut and simplification plan, and the swamp is trying to marginalize and minimize it until it has no resemblance to what the president proposed. The swamp has pushed back on the president's immigration proposal, which is common sense and designed to enforce the laws that are already on the books. But the congressional Democrats are against it because they oppose the southern border wall and anything Trump. Health insurance, taxes, and immigration solutions are the big three that we the people want solved. But the swamp has not provided any legislative support, and they will not without a loud ringing tone from the people. Otherwise, the swamp will continue to resist and do nothing, and hope we will forget by the time they run for re-election. Like you, I have been fed up and frustrated with this swamp resistance since the president's inauguration. They don't think we are paying attention, but we are paying attention. They don't think they will hear from us, but they will hear from us. This is why we must Rise Up and Raise C.A.I.N. C. Call your members of Congress. A. Ask them to support the people’s' agenda, which is the president's agenda. I. Ignore the negative liberal media soundbites. We are not stupid. N. Never stop calling! Melt the phone lines if necessary! The president is applying pressure from the top to get things done. We must apply pressure from the bottom, namely, the voters. When members of Congress in both political parties get tired of hearing from us, maybe something will get done. If not, we will have to remember in November 2018. I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired of the same old games the swamp plays, while ignoring the will of the people. Rise Up and Raise C.A.I.N. with us!
