Pins, punters, Judge anna Taylor

a judge's ruling as evidence of collapse

By John Burtis

Saturday, august 19, 2006

Somewhere in Detroit a dimwitted federal judge appointed by the late, lamentable and toothy Jimmy Carter, who made militant Islam what it is today by his feckless and toothless response to the capture of our hostages in Tehran back in 1979, ruled that the highly successful NSa program is unconstitutional.

and by doing so she ruled against years of precedent and all too obvious common sense, and is trying to put the kibosh on a program which was most recently used in stopping the 24 folks in custody in Britain. The NSa, you see, was used to identify these killers, alleged if you must in today's oh so politically correct world, and kept them from completing their onerous tasks of killing americans in a dozen aircraft over the high seas.

Yes, she is an legacy of the legendary Mr. Peanut, who waffled so painfully before the might of the placard waving Iranian students and before the ayatollah Khomeini, whose air force lacked the spare parts enabling it to fly.

Yes, that same Mr. Peanut, Mr. Legume, Mr. Habitat, today's Bush baiter and Nobel laureate, Mr. Jimmy Carter, who is so quick to grasp the hand of every terrorist he can find and weep for their welfare and demand that the West pay for their continued arming and feeding, who groveled in the dust and wore sack cloth and ashes before that notorious killer of the innocents, Mr. Yasser arafat, was a man who knew how to pick a judge or two.

President Carter - who directed the ill fated rescue attempt at Desert One, which cost so many lives, which was planned so abysmally and so poorly, and was such a propaganda windfall for the ayatollah, which demonstrated the utter lack of US power to the world, the lack of dust filters, the need for landing near a highway and for the capture of a busload of people on hegira, all told a massive foul up of the first degree - is still telling us what to do in the East. Mr. Carter's mistakes are legend, his lack of leadership is noteworthy, his failures countless, and for all of this he is still rewarded by a political party noted for full retreat and sham victories on the field of honor.

Yes, that Mr. Carter, is the hero of the lead appeasers of the Democratic Party, the lip-syncher to every song denigrating any american response to terror anywhere, the man who built Fatah from the ashes of Israeli destruction, and gave them stature in the world bodies, and the man who would restrain Israel and keep her from defending herself in the face of the growing Holocaust practiced against her.

and Judge anna Diggs Taylor was appointed by President Jimmy Carter because of her tepid grounding in the law and because she would one day rise, as Mr. Carter has so often risen, and be recognized by a world grounded in fact and science, in mathematics and reasoning, in the scientific method, as a four square humbug.

There, in Detroit, Judge Taylor has declared that we cannot even listen in on our enemies. Imagine. We are at war and we cannot tap into the conversations of those plotting to kill us.

Her outrageous ruling means that our past activities in Magic, in Ultra, at the Coral Sea, at Midway, at Bletchley Park, in Venona, were illegal also. Imagine the cheek we used in defeating the Nazis and Imperial Japan. Oh, let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin and the crying towels appear. Let's revisit the unfair treatment afforded the axis at Normandy, the Marianas, the Philippines, and the Battle of Britain — where radar and radio intercepts were unfairly used to outwit and outfox the wily Germans and the cunning Japanese.

and for the aCLU, for all the Carter and Clinton judicial appointees, for the cut and run Democrats, for the anti-war crowd, for Honest John Murtha and John Kerry, for Ned Lament and his relatives in the VVaW, for Hezbollah, for al-Qaeda, for militant Islam anywhere, for Hamas, for Sheikh Nasrallah, for the mullahs, for the vicious hate spewing Imams across the globe, for the Madrassa Schools, for the young suicide bombers, for every new recruit to the ongoing and violent jihad against every one of us in the West — this senseless ruling is a grand victory.

The liberals and the progressives will walk taller from now until a final ruling puts an end to this idiocy. Despite its twisted thinking, the turgid prose, and the obvious political slant, they have found a judge devoid of enough scruples and sense to finally go on the public record to openly assist the Islamist brigands and bandits in their war against america.

Now that a judge named anna Diggs Taylor has put the torch to that part of our fortifications, what can be next?

Boy, I'm sure glad that the left can laugh about the collapse of our war on terror, and whistle through our graveyard.

Remember when that courageous and brave american hero, Harry Reid, our modern Davey Crockett, breathlessly announced to the Democrats that they had just killed, "killed," the Patriot act to rapturous applause?

I wonder who will be the first of our staunch defenders from the left, the first of our "tougher and smarter" Democrats, to stand and clap for another grave loss of a major weapon system in the war on terror? Who will lead the loud "Huzzahs!" and "Hosannas!"

Someday, real soon I fear, these same empty wheezing defeatists and rotters may yet reap the fearful mushroom clouds from the seeds they so willingly sow today.

and who will they point to for redress, when the nation's on fire and the phones only scream EMP in their ears?
