Hell's angels, Hamas,

Hell's angels should form next Ontario government

Last year a judge of the Ontario Superior Court ruled that the Hells angels Motorcycle Club was a criminal organization. Receiving that designation means not only that law enforcement can more easily move against the group, but individual members can face more serious jail time (if there is such a thing in Canada) after they are found guilty of crimes. Luckily for the Hells angels, there is a way out.

The next provincial elections that will be held in Ontario will take place in a year and a half from now, thanks to a law brought in by the current Liberal government for fixed election dates. as certain as anything can be this far from election day, if Ontarians could vote for the NOTa Party (None Of The above Party), we would see the biggest landslide in Ontario history.

Let's face it; the Liberals just have to go. Under the leadership of Dalton McGuinty, this government has turned the art of being loose with the political truth into an art form. Besides this, Dalton McGuinty is already destined to make it into the Guinness Book of Records for the most broken promises in a single political term. There really isn't a lot for Dalton to hang around for.

It is still too early for the Progressive Conservatives to make a triumphant comeback while those dreaded words "Mike Harris" are still on the lips of every left leaning Ontarian and special interest group. The province needs at least a few more years before the Common Sense Revolution leaves the public consciousness.

If it will take some time for people to forget the Harris/Eves government, Ontarians will never forget the NDP government of Bob Rae. While others like to talk about the year 1990 as the year that communism died, we all know that communism didn't die; it simply moved to Ontario for 5 years. The NDP will never come into power in the province in the foreseeable future. It will take at least half a century before we can forget the disastrous NDP government. Even Bob Rae wants to forget the Bob Rae government; Bobby's a Liberal now and will soon be amongst the most favoured group of Liberal leadership candidates — people who have no real ties to the Liberals.

No, what Ontario needs is an entire new group to take over the running of the province and this is where the Hells angels come in.

The angels could easily form a government and, at the same time, the motorcycle club could get rid of having been saddled with the designation of being a criminal organization. after all, it worked for Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization, but that fact doesn't seem to mean too much after they were democratically elected by Palestinians to form a government. The "give peace a chance" group thinks that Hamas should be treated just like any other elected government, including being given money even though they still stand by their main reason for being — the total destruction of the state of Israel. apparently the aims and objectives of a group are not important as long as they are elected by a free and fair vote. So the fact that the Hells angels have been designated as a criminal organization will not be held against them. This conventional wisdom also says that once an organization is democratically elected, they are entitled to money regardless of what aims they have. So even under an angels' government, the province can still receive money and transfer payments from the feds.

In fact can't you just see a Hells angels government asking for more money from the federal government? The governing Conservatives will take these demands a lot more seriously than they do now when they're simply whined at by some guy named Dalton. and after discussions between the federal government and the Ontario Hells angels government are first held, it will be a long time before anyone ever refers to Stephen Harper as being "scary".

If Hamas can be a legitimate government, so can the Ontario Hells angels. They may even be able to balance the budget.
