As if we didn't have enough problems, we're about to inherit a new "Pillar of the Community."
First he brought us the Fremont Street Experience street closure and canopythat destroyed historic Casino Center. Afterhis idea causedDowntown gaming revenues to flatten, Wynn abandoned the Golden Nugget for greener pastures on the Strip.
Now "visionary" Steve Wynn is gifting us with Michael Jackson!
The Las Vegas Review Journal's entertainment columnist Norm Clark informs us that Jackson, fresh from the Kingdom of Bahrain, has taken up residency in -- where else? Sin City.
Jackson and family reportedly have moved into a 10,000 square foot villa located near Summerlin to prepare for what Clark says is a Vegas showroom premier to rival that of Celine Dion. But instead of Dion's Caesars Palace digs, Jackson is expected to open at Wynn's lavish Las Vegas Resort replete with a custom designed showroom dedicated to Mr. Wynn's friendship with the disgraced pop idol.
