  • Dec 30 - Shooting- A bullet entered a 22nd story window of an apartment building on Chalkfarm Drive in the Jane and Wilson area. There were no injuries and no arrests.

  • Dec 29 - Shooting- Around 9:15 pm, a woman was shot in the leg on San Romanoway in the Jane and Finch area. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Dec 27 - Shooting - During the evening a 19-year-old man was shot twice. The incident happened in a church parking lot in the Neilson and Sheppard area of Scarborough. The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Dec 23 - Shooting- Around 2:30 pm, several shots were fired near 14 Blevins Pl. in the River and Queen Street East area of downtown. When police arrived they found a man lying in a pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Five people were seen fleeing from the area at the time of the shooting.

  • Dec 20 - Shooting - Around 11 pm, a shootout developed between two cars on Lakeshore Blvd. The exchange of gunfire continued on the Gardiner Expressway near Jarvis when a 40-year-old woman who was driving in front of the cars was shot in the arm. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Dec 14 - Shooting - Around 12:45 pm, a 24-year-old man was shot in the head. The shooting occurred in a home in the Finch Ave and Morningside area of Scarborough. The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital and is on life support. Witnesses told police that they saw 3 or 4 people flee the scene after the shooting.

  • Dec 9 - Shooting - Around 5:15 am, police were called to a home in the Rogers Rd and Dufferin St. area. They found nothing but saw a taxi speeding away from the scene. The cab was found a short time later at a hospital with a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the vehcile. Police later arrested 3 people at the address.

  • Dec 8 - Shooting - Shortly after 8 pm, police received a call regarding gunshots in the Jane and Sheppard Ave area of North York. Shell casings were found at the scene and a short time later a man in his 20s walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds. The victim, who is known to police, is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Police have no suspects.

  • Dec 5 - Shooting - A shootout occured in the area of Jane and Sheppard. The shooting took place around 8:15 am as chldren were walking to a nearby school. No one was injured although a city of Toronto vehicle was hit by a bullett. Police have made one arrest and are looking for another suspect.

  • Dec 2 - Shooting - Around 1:30 am, a 16-year-old boy was shot in a townhouse complex on Empringham Ave in the Morningside and Sheppard area of Scarborough. He was rushed to hospital where he later died. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Nov 28 - Shooting - After 3 pm, a man was shot and killed in a 7th floor apartment on Mornelle Court, in the Ellesmere and Morningside area of Scarborough. The ETF was called in to look for a suspect who was seen running from the building.

  • Nov 26 - Shooting - Shortly before noon an incident of road rage took place in the Victoria Park and Eglinton Ave area. A car pulled along side a taxi and the driver of the car fired two shots into the back window of the taxi. There were no injuries and police are searching for a suspect.

  • Nov 25 - Shooting - Around 8 pm, a man believed to be in his teens was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was found on a walkway of a townhouse complex on Drifwood Ave. in the Jane and Finch area. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for suspects that were seen fleeing the scene after the shooting.

  • Nov 23 - Shooting - Around 1:30 pm, a 19-year-old man was shot while sitting in his car in a strip mall in the Birchmount and Sheppard Ave. area of Scarborough. At least 12 shots were fired into the car. He was rushed to hospital where he later died. Multiple suspects are being sought and police are reviewing videotapes.

  • Nov 18 - Shooting - Around 4 am, a 25-year-old man was shot in the chest as he was leaving a club on College St. near Crawford. Police are looking for 3 men.

  • Nov 14 - Shooting - Around 5:15 pm, a man in his teens was shot in the leg. The incident happened in the Morningside and Finch Ave. E. area of Scarborough. The teen was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries. He is refusing to be co-operative with police and it is believed that the shooting may be gang related.

  • Nov 13 - Shooting - Around 8:30 pm, police found a man in an underground garage on Sheppard Ave E near Markham Rd. He had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

  • Nov 11 - Shooting - Shortly before 1 pm, shots were fired at a home on Shoreham Dr. in the Jane and Finch area of North York. A man entering the house was grazed by a bullet and police recovered several shell casings. A supsect is being sought.
  • Nov 6 - Shooting - Around 9:30 pm, a man in his 20s was shot in the head. The incident happened in an apartment building in the Shuter St. and Parliament St. area of downtown. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Nov 3 - Shooting and stabbing - Around 7:20 pm police were called to an apartment building on Eddystone Ave. in the Jane and Finch area. A man believed to be in his late teens or early twenties was found in the lobby with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. A short time later, a man was stabbed in a building around the corner from the murder scene. He has non-life-threatening injuries and police believe he may have had something to do with the murder.

  • Oct 31 - Shooting - Shortly before midnight, a 22-year-old man was shot in the stomach. He was in a restaurant on Bloor St. W. near Ossington when another man entered the restaurant and fired 3 or 4 shots. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition and police are searching for the suspect.

  • Oct 30 - Shooting - Multiple gunshots erupted shortly after 3 am in the Entertainment District near Spadina and Queen. Police recovered over 30 shell casings and believe rival gangs were involved. One man was shot in the buttocks and he may have been an innocent bystander. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Oct 27 - Shooting - Around 9 pm. a man who was shot multiple times was found in a highrise apartment on Dundas St. W. near Islington Ave. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Oct 21 - Shooting - Around 4 pm, a 21-year-old man who had just left the Don Jail, was confronted by and then chased by a group of men. He was shot several times on Simpson Avenue in the Gerrard and Broadview Ave. area of Riverdale, just north of the jail and pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for suspects and don't believe that the attack was random.

  • Oct 20 - Shooting - Around 2:30 pm., two men believed to be in their 30s were shot outside a bar in the Finch and Weston Rd. area. Both were taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were un-cooperative with the police and police are not sure whether any third parties are involved or whether the two shot each other.

  • Oct 9 - Shooting - Around 8:30 pm, at least 20 shots were fired at the rear of a housing complex on Driftwood Ave. in the Jane and Finch area of North York. A woman in her 20s was hit in the stomach, rushed to hospital and was pronounced dead. Another woman in her 30s suffered a serious wound to her leg. Two men showed up at a nearby hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. A short time later, 2 men were arrested on nearby Shoreham Drive after more shots were fired. Police are not saying if they believe the two incidents are related.

  • Oct. 8 - Shooting - Around 2:30 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot 3 times in the head at a Hungarian-Canadian cultural centre in the Bathurst and St. Clair area. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Oct 7 - Shooting - A Christening party was being held at the Calypso Hut in the Victoria Park/Lawrence Avenue area of the city. Around 8 p.m. a man was asked to leave, came back and fired a shot through the window. One woman received minor injuries when hit by flying glass. Police are looking for a suspect whose identity is known to them.

  • Oct 4 - Shooting - Around 9:40 pm, three people were shot at Windies, a sports bar located in the Bellamy and Lawrence area of Scarborough. One man in his 40s was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries. The other two were treated and released. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Sept 29 - Shooting - Around 7 pm, police received a report of shots fired at 609 The East Mall. When they arrived they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the back. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious injuries. The shooting was a drive-by and police are searching for a vehicle and suspects.
  • Sept 28 - Shooting - Around 8 pm a man was shot to death while sitting in a car in the Jane and Finch area of North York. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Sept 25 - Shooting - Around 11 pm a 17-year-old boy was shot several times. The shooting took place in the Martingrove and Albion Rd area of Rexdale. He is expected to survive. Police are looking for suspects

  • Sept 21 - Shooting - After 5 pm, a fight broke out between several people outside of a community centre in the Victoria Park and Eglinton Ave. area. During the course of the fight a 31-year-old man was shot in the leg. An 18-year-old was arrested and police are looking for a 17-year-old.

  • Sept 19 - Shooting - Around 10:30 am, a security guard discovered the bodies of two people in an apartment at College Park at the corner of College and Yonge. Both were found dead after having been shot. Police believe the two were mother and son and the incident was a murder-suicide.

  • Sept 19 - Shooting - Around 2 am, a 19-year-old man was shot in the area of Wellesley and Parliament Street. He was taken to hospital in serious condition. As police arrived, two suspects fled and a car chase for over 40 km began. The chase ended when the vehicle lost control. One man was arrested right away while the second remained in the car and exchanged shots with the police. The second suspect received a serious head wound and the SIU is investigating.

  • Sept 12 - Shooting - Around 11 am, a woman working in a massage parlour near Dufferin�St. and Lawrence Ave.�was shot in the abdomen. Police believe that she was the victim of a robbery. She is expected to survive and police are looking for a suspect.

  • Sept 7 - Shooting - Shots rang out in the lobby of an apartment building at 20 Livonia Pl. in the Neilson and Ellesmere area of Scarborough. Police believe that a man was lured there by the shooters. At least 3 shots were fired and security video revealed that the victim appeared to be hit. Both the shooters and the victim fled the scene and have not been located. Children who were playing in front of the building were forced to disperse when the shots rang out.

  • Sept 5 -�Shooting -�Around 11 pm., shots were fired in the area of Jane St. and St. Clair. At least 4 bullets entered two homes where children were sleeping. Police believe the shooting was random and there were no reports of injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Aug 31 - Shooting - Around 1:25 pm., shots were fired as 2 Brinks guards were picking up cash from a business. The incident happened around Dufferin St. and Steeles Ave. One guard was slightly injured and police are looking for the suspects who fled the scene.

  • Aug 27 - Shooting - A 17-year-old is in serious condition in hospital after being shot 3 times. The shooting happened in the Jane and Steeles area and took place around 5 pm near a group of children that were playing. Police are looking for 3 suspects.

  • Aug. 19 - Shooting - Around 3 pm six or seven shots were fired close to a children's festival where approximately 75 people were at a BBQ. The incident happened on Jane St south of Steeles Ave. No one was hurt and police questioned and then released two people.

  • Aug 17 - Shooting - Around 5 pm a man showed up at Scarborough Centenary� Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh. He said that the shooting took place in the area of Neilson Rd. and Ellesmere. Police have no suspects.

  • Aug 16 - Shooting - Around 6:30 pm, a man was discovered in the lobby of an apartment building in the Jane and Steeles area. He had been shot in the back and was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on suspects or a motive.

  • Aug. 13 - Shooting - Around 8 pm a man was shot while sitting in a car near Highway 27 and Finch Avenue West. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There have been no arrests.

  • Aug 7 - Shooting - Around 1 pm a man returned home and parked his car on Flemington Rd in the Lawrence and Allen area of North York. Another man approached and fired at least 3 shots at a neighbour. One of the bullets entered the driver's side window of the car, narrowly missing the man and his 2-year-old son. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • Aug 5 - Shooting - A man was shot in the arm around 2:30 am near the intersection of Wellesley and Yonge St. Police are searching for 2 suspects.

  • Aug 4 - Shooting - a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old showed up at St. Michael's Hospital with minor gunshot wounds. They said they were shot in the area of Dundas and Ontario streets. They were uncooperative with police who could not find a crime scene.

  • Aug 4 - Shooting - Shortly after 1 pm a 19-year-old man was shot in the abdomen several times in the Gerrard and Parliament St. area. He was taken to hospital suffering from life threatening injuries. There have been no arrests.

  • Aug 4 - Shooting -�Around 4 am a man got involved with some teens in the Jones Ave/Gerrard St. area of east Toronto. He was shot in the torso and taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are looking for the suspects.

  • Aug 2 - Shooting - Around midnight, a man was shot in the lobby of an apartment building in the Kingston Rd and Lawrence area. Police say that the male had been shot on two previous occasions. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and police are looking for the perpetrators.

  • Aug 2 - Shooting - Around 8:30 pm a teen was shot in the hand in the Neilson Rd and Milner Ave area of Scarborough. He was not seriously injured and police are looking for suspects.

  • July 31 - Shooting - Shortly before 11:30 pm a 21-year-old man was shot after he got into a fight with 2 other men. The shooting took place near Birchmount and Ellesmere. The victim was taken to hospital, treated and released. The police are looking for the 2 suspects.

  • July 30 - Shooting - Around 9 pm a man was shot while sitting in his car waiting for his girlfriend. The man, in his 20s, was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead. One report indicates that he was leaving a message for his girlfriend at the time of the shooting and may have identified at least one of the suspects. Police are searching for 2 men who fled the scene.

  • July 30 - Shooting - Around 3:30 am 4 shots were fired into the locked door of the House of Lancaster strip club on Bloor St. W. near Lansdowne Ave. No one was hurt and police have surveillance videos of the club.

  • July 29 - Shooting - Shortly before 11:30 pm shots rang out a large party on Markham Rd. just south of Finch. About an hour later, a man was dropped off at Rouge Valley Centerary Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the knee. He was un-cooperative with the police.

  • July 29 - Shooting - Around 9:30 pm, shots were fired in the Jane St./Woolner Ave. area of west Toronto. A man later showed up at Humber River Regional Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He fled when he heard that the police had been called.

  • July 29 - Shooting - Around 3:30 am, police found the body of a 25-year-old man in his car. The man, who was found in the Finch and Morningside area of Scarborough had been shot at least 4 times in the head and chest. Police are searching for suspects.

  • July 22 - Shooting - Before 2 am a man in his 20s was found outside of an apartment building on Bleeker St. near Wellesley. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital where he later died

  • July 22 - Shooting - Shortly before 1 am�an 11-year-old boy was shot while outside of his home in a housing complex in the Jane and Sheppard area. He was rushed to hospital where he later died. Police have no weapons, motive or suspects.

  • July 22 -�Shooting -�Around 1 am, a man showed up in hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. He is being uncooperative with the police.

  • July 22 - Shooting - Shortly after 1 am 2 men in their 20s were shot in the Entertainment District in the Adelaide and Duncan St. area. One man was killed while the other was taken to hospital and is expected to survive.

  • July 21 -Shooting - Around 6 am, 2 men were found in a home in the Bathurst and Wilson areas of north Toronto. Both were shot in the stomach and are expected to survive. A TTC employee called police and an armed suspect was arrested on a Bathurst St. bus.

  • July 21 - Shooting - Around 3 am, 2 men were shot outside of a bar on Vaughan Rd.� A 23-year-old man was shot in the stomach and pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and is expected to survive.

  • July 16 - Shooting - Around 11:15 pm at least 4 shots were fired in a courtyard near a building in the Bleeker St. and Wellesley St. area. Approximately 10 minutes later, a 17-year-old boy showed up at St. Michael's Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. At least 6 people were seen fleeing the area at the time of the shooting.

  • July 13 - Shooting - A man in his 20s was shot to death on Edengarth Ct. in the Dufferin St./Lawrence Ave. area. The man, who was shot 3 times in the chest shortly after 10 pm was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have no suspects.

  • July 7 - Shooting - Around 2:15 pm, a fight broke out at Wiseguys Bar on the Danforth near Woodbine Ave. One man was shot in the leg and made his way to a hospital. He is being uncooperative with the police who have no suspects.

  • July 5 - Shooting -�Around 1 am, a man was shot in the arm in the Birchmount Rd./Sheppard Ave. area of Scarborough.Police are seeking 3 suspects who were seen fleeing the scene on foot.

  • July 4- Shooting - Two men, one in his 30s and the other 18 were shot to death in the Kingston Rd. and Sheppard area of the city. Police were called to a home where they found one of the men without vital signs. The second man died on the way to hospital. No arrests have been made.

  • July 3 - Shooting- Shortly before midnight, a 19-year-old man was shot in both legs and stabbed in the back. The incident took place behind an apartment building on Dawes Rd. in the St. Clair and Victoria Park area of the city. The victim was taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries. Police are searching for suspects.

  • June 24 - Shooting -�Around 7 p.m., a man was hit in the leg by a stray bullett while in his backyard. The victim lives on Grandravine Dr. in the Jane and Finch area. No arrests have been made.

  • June 24 - Shooting - A 24-year-old�man was shot in the foot after he got off a bus near Keelesdale Park in the Jane St./Eglinton Ave. area of the city. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. There have been no arrests.

  • June 24- Shooting - Just before midnight, a 43-year-old man was shot in the leg on Trethewey Drive. There have been no arrests.

  • Jun 18 - Shooting - Around 4:30 p.m., two men were shot in a housing complex on Grandravine Dr. in the Jane/Finch area of the city. Both men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and police are looking for 4 suspects.

  • June 10 - Shooting - Around 3 p.m., a drive-by shooting occurred on Jamestown Cresc. in the Martingrove and Finch area of Rexdale. Shots were fired from a silver SUV into a blue Honda. One man was killed while 2 others were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A fourth man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Police are looking for the silver SUV.

  • June 6 - Shooting - Around 5:30 p.m., several shots were fired into buildings on Driftwood Ct. in the Jane and Finch area of Toronto. No injuries were reported and the police arrested 3 people.

  • June 2 - Shooting - Around 4 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot twice at Trinity/Bellwoods Park located near Dundas St. W. and Grace Street. He was taken to hospital suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for witnesses.

  • May 23 - Shooting - Shortly after 2:30 p.m., police were called to C. W. Jefferies Collegiate Institute in the Jane St and Keele St. area of North York. A 15-year-old boy had been shot in the swimming pool area of the school and was found with vital signs absent. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The school was locked down and the search continues for the killer or killers.

  • May 21 - Shooting - Shortly after 4 a.m., police found a man and a woman who had both been shot while sitting in a car on Weston Rd. near Sheppard Ave. W. Both were taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The woman is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

  • May 20 - Shooting - Around 2:15 a.m. a man was shot at a party in the Dundas and Spadina area of downtown. He was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with life-threatening injuries and is not expected to live. There is no words on suspects.

  • May 14 - Shooting - Around 6:40 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to St. Michael's Hosptial by taxi. The shooting took place on a walkway in Regent Park near Parliament St. and Dundas. Police are looking for 2 suspects who were seen fleeing the scene.

  • May 4 - Shooting -Around 4:30 p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the leg on Driftwood Ave. in the Jane/Finch area. He was the third person shot on Driftwood in less than 24 hours. Four suspects were seen leaving the scene on bicycles. The victim, who suffered minor injuries was not cooperating with police.

  • May 3 - Shooting - Around 8 p.m. two teens were shot in a drive-by shooting. The incident took place in front of the Driftwood Community Centre in the Jane/Finch area. A 14-year-old boy was shot in the back and a 17-year-old was also hit. Both teens were taken to hosptials with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are reviewing surveillance tapes of the area to attempt to find suspects.

  • Apr 29 - Shooting - Around 10:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in the thigh. The shooting took place on Falstaff Ave. in the Jane and Wilson area of North York. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He is not cooperating with police and there is no word on suspects.

  • Apr 24 - Shooting - Around 9 p.m. a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident happened in the Kipling and Albion area of Rexdale. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and there is no word on suspects.

  • Apr 22 - Shooting - Around 11:30 p.m., a shot was fired at a TTC bus on Victoria Park just south of St. Clair. The bullet entered a window near the rear of the bus. No one was hurt but two passengers were sprayed with broken glass. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • Apr 21 - Shooting - Shortly after 1 a.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the vicinity of Jane St. and Wilson Ave. in North York. He was discovered behind the wheel of his car after it veered off Wilson Ave. and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene a couple of hours later and police have no information on suspects.

  • Apr 17 - Shooting - Around 11 p.m. a 17-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks in the vicinity of Pape and Mortimer. A shotgun was recovered at the scene and the youth who is known to police was uncooperative in the investigation. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Apr 12 - Shooting - A 30-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in the stomach. The� shooting happened during the evening in an apartment on Danforth Rd. Police have no word on suspects.

  • Apr. 7 - Shooting - Around 6 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot twice, including once in the head at the North Kipling Community Centre in the Kipling and Finch area of Etobicoke. The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive. Police have no suspects and no motive for the attack.

  • Apr 5 - Shooting - Around 3:30 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in a drive-by shooting. The incident happened in the driveway of Burnhamthorpe Collegiate near East Mall and Burnhamthorpe Dr. in Etobicoke. Police have no suspects.

  • Apr 2 - Stabbing - A 20-year-old man was shot and stabbed in an apartment complex in the Jane/Finch area. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital and later died. Police are examining surveillance tapes.

  • Mar 31- Shooting - Around 9 p.m., shots were fired in the Old Finch and Morningside area of Sc********gh. When police arrived, the victim had left the scene but one man was taken into custody. About an hour later, the male victim showed up at a hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.

  • Mar 27 - Shooting - Around 7:45 p.m., a man in his 20s was shot in the chest. The shooting happened near the East York Town Centre at Thorncliffe Pk. Drive and Overlea Blvd. The man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. Police are searching for 2 suspects who fled to a nearby apartment building.

  • Mar. 17 - Shooting - Around 5 a.m., two men were shot in a basement apartment in the Vaughan Rd. and Oakwood Ave. area of the city. Both men were taken to hospital where one of the men in his 20s was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the head. The second man was shot in the chest and underwent surgery. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Mar. 15 - Shooting - Around 4:30 p.m., police were called to an apartment in the Finch Ave. and Weston Rd. area. They found the lifeless body of a 40-year-old man who had been shot several times. Police have no information as to a motive or suspects.

  • Mar 15 - Shooting - Around 8 pm., a man was robbed at gunpoint on Morningside Dr. near Lawrence Ave. E. During the course of the robbery the victim was shot in the foot. Police are looking for 2 men.

  • Mar 11 - Shooting - An 18-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks as she was leaving a restaurant at 5:40 a.m. The shooting took place near Islington and Finch. Police are looking for suspects and have no motive for the shooting.

  • Mar 10 - Shooting -�Around 2:30 am, a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg in the Danforth and Main St. area of east Toronto. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was last seen running north on Barrington Avenue and police are looking for witnesses.

  • Mar 3- Shooting -�Around 12:30 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in the arm and leg in front of a fast food restaurant and King and Dufferin in the city's west end. He was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries and underwent surgery.

  • Feb 15 - Shooting - Around 1 a.m., a man left a Kingston Rd. nightclub after becoming invovled in a dispute with security staff. He returned with a gun and fired at least 6 shots into the crowded bar. There were no injuries and a 30-year-old man who was seen fleeing the scene in a van was taken into custody. The gun was recovered.

  • Feb. 4 - Shooting - Around 12:30 a.m., 3 men were shot at a party. The shootings took place in a house on Scarborough Heights Blvd. in the McCowan and Kingston Road area. Two men were shot in the chest and the third in the leg. One man was pronounced dead in the ambulance and the other two are expected to recover. Police are searching for two men in their late teens or early 20s.

  • Jan.�29 - Shooting - Around 8 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in the back in front of a townhouse complex in the Morningside and Finch Ave. area of SCARBOROUGH. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for 3 suspects.

  • Jan 20 - Stabbing - Around 4 a.m., police were called to an apartment in the Weston Rd and Rogers Rd area. They found the body of a 37-year-old woman who had been stabbed to death. Police believe the killing resulted from a domestic dispute.

  • Jan 19 - Shooting - Around 5 p.m., shots were fired outside of a jewellery store located in the Eglinton Ave. and Warden Ave. area of Councillor Norm Kelly's Scarborough. One man inside the store was hit in the back and went to SCARBOROUGH Grace Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.

  • Jan 16 - Shooting - Around 3 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the arm and knee and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident happened in a restaurant in the Weston Rd. and Finch Ave. area. Police say that the witnesses to the shooting are being uncooperative.

  • Jan 14 - Shooting - A person walking in a Scarborough park near Brimley and the 401 around 9:30 a.m.�found the body of a 23-year-old man. He had been shot in the chest. Police are attemping to track the man's movements in the hours preceeding the body being found.

  • Jan 14 - Shooting - Around 2:30 a.m., a fight developed in a nightclub located at 240 Richmond St. in the Entertainment District. The fight moved out to the street where a 20-year-old man was shot in the chest and groin and a 21-year-old was shot in the wrist. Both men have non-life-threatening injuries and police are looking for witnesses and the shooter.

  • Jan 11 - Shooting - Around 3 p.m., police found two men in their 20s who had been shot. They were found in a parking lot in Flemingdon Park in the Don Mills and Eglinton Ave. area. One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to hospital and underwent surgery. Police are looking for witnesses and suspects.

  • Jan 10 - Shooting - Around 10 p.m, a man was shot in the leg during a home invasion in an apartment on Oak St. in the River St. and Dundas St. area. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Jan. 8 - Shooting - Around 4:30 p.m., a 46-year-old man was shot in the stomach on a street in the Kipling Ave./Rexdale Blvd. area of Etobicoke. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Police are seeking a suspect and trying to ascertain a motive for the shooting.

  • Jan 6 - Stabbing - Around 10 p.m., 3 masked men knocked on the door of a home in the Bloor St. and Dufferin St. area. The man who answered the door was stabbed in the neck. He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating and looking for suspects.

  • Jan 6 - Stabbing - At about 8 p.m., a woman in her 30s was stabbed in the back in the Main St. subway station. It is believed the assailant was attempting to cut the strap of her purse and missed. The woman was taken to hospital, treated and released. Police are examining surveillance tapes.

  • Jan6 - Shooting - Around 7 p.m., a man was returning to his vehicle after making a night deposit at a bank in the Finch Ave. and Keele St. area when he was shot. There was no attempt at robbery and the man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Jan. 2 - Shooting - Two men were shot as they were in the proceess of being evicted from the Guvernment nightclub at Queen's Quay and Jarvis St. Both men were taken to hospital after the 3 a.m. shootings and are suffering from non-life-threatening wounds. Police are searching for suspects.

  • Jan. 2 - Shooting - Around 1 a.m., a woman in her late teens or early 20s was shot in the face in an apartment building in the Lawrence Ave. and Weston Rd. area. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition and the homicide squad has been called in.

  • Jan 1 - Shooting - Around 2:30 p.m., a woman believed to be in her 60s answered the door at her home and was shot in the face. The incident happened on Snowball Cresc. which is in the Sheppard Ave./Markham Rd. area of Scarborough. The woman was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The shooter had fled the scene.
