  • Dec 30 - Around 2 am, a man who was being thrown out of a club in the Entertainment District, pulled out a gun and shot the bouncer in the leg. The bouncer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the suspect escaped.

  • Dec 28 - Around 8 pm, a 28-year-old man was shot in the chest in a basement apartment in the Pape and Dundas St. E area. A witness saw 2 men running northbound on Pape after the shots were fired. There have been no arrests.

  • Dec 28 - Around 2:45 am, a bullet entered a home in the Martin Grove and Steeles Ave W area. Three shell casings were found. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made.

  • Dec 28 - Around 12:30 am, a fight that began in Gabby's Restaurant in the Victoria Park and Kingston Rd area spilled out onto the street. A 20-year-old woman was shot in the ribcage. She took a cab to Toronto East General Hospital where she was transferred to Sunnybrook. She is in serious condition but is expected to survive. No arrests have been made.

  • Dec 21 - Around noon, two men were chasing another, firing shots at him. The incident happened in the Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W area and at least one bullet hit a TTC bus. There were no injuries but police have been unable to locate the intended victim. They are looking for the victim as well as the two suspected shooters.

  • Dec 14 - At 4:30 am there was a drive-by shooting on Neptune Dr in the Allen Rd and 401 area of North York. There were no injuries but two apartment units were hit by bullets. Police have no suspects

  • Dec 13 - Around 11:30 pm, a 12-year-old boy was shot in the leg above the knee. The shooting took place in a housing development in Dupont and Dundas St W area of the city. Police recovered shell casings and are looking for two suspects who fled in a car.

  • Dec 8 - Around 6 pm, a man was backing his car out of his driveway in the Keele and Eglinton area when shots were fired at his car. There were no injuries although 2 bullets hit the car.

  • Nov 26 - Just before midnight police went to a highrise apartment on Victoria Park and Lawrence in response to reports of shots being fired. A 22-year-old man was found dead of gunshot wounds in the parking garage of the building. Police are looking for two suspects.

  • Nov 23- Around 1 am, shots were fired during a robbery in Flemingdon Park in the Don Mills and Eglinton area. Shell casings were found and there was property damage but no reports of injuries.

  • Nov 23 - Around 4 am, several shots were fired from 2 guns in the Dundas and University area of downtown.� Police believe that the dispute began in an area restaurant. A man who is believed to be an innocent bystander was shot in the leg.

  • Nov 23 - In the late afternoon, an 18-year-old man was shot in the eye. The shooting took place on a basketball court on Driftwood Ct in the Jane and Finch area. Police are looking for 2 suspects.

  • Nov 7 - Shortly before 8 pm, shots were fired in front of an apartment complex on Humber Blvd in the Weston Rd and Black Creek Dr area. Four men were hit, two of whom sustained serious injuries. All of the men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Nov 4 - Shortly before midnight a man answered a knock on the door in a high rise on Shuter St. While he was answering the door, three shots were fired, hitting him in the stomach. He is in stable condition in hospital and police are searching for a suspect.

  • Nov 4 - Around 4:45 pm, shots erupted between 2 groups of people in the parking lot of Warden Avenue Jr Public School on Warden Avenue just south of St. Clair. A man in his 20s was shot in the abdomen and taken to St. Michael's Hosptial. Police are looking for 2 suspects.

  • Oct 25 - Around 5:30 pm, a group of men were fighting in the Lakeshore and Bathurst St. area. One man pulled out a gun and fired about 10 shots. Four bullets hit a 21-year-old man in the leg who was taken to hospital in stable condition. Police arrested one suspect and are looking for 2 others.

  • Oct 25- Shots erupted outside of the Duke of York tavern on Queen St E near Leslie. A 21-year-old woman was killed and 4 others were injured; one of the victims being described as clinging to life. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Oct 19 - Around 11 pm, 4 men were walking together in the Jane and Falstaff area when two of the men pulled out guns and shot the other two several times. Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are looking for the 2 shooters.

  • Oct 19 - Shortly before 8 pm, two men, ages 17 and 19 were walking in the Jane and Finch area when a car pulled up along side them. One of the occupants of the vehicle shot the men, hitting both in the leg. Police are looking for 2 suspects.

  • Oct 19 - Around 3:30 am, shots were fired by a man leaving a club near Queen and University in the entertainment district. No one was injured but bullets hit 2 vehicles. The alleged shooter was arrested when he tried to leave the area in a limo. Six other persons were arrested as well.

  • Oct 17 - Around 11 pm, 3 men were shot on Falstaff Ave in North York. One was hit in the shoulder and another in the leg. A third man took off before police arrived.

  • Oct 14 - Around 12:30 pm, a man in his 20s was shot and killed in an alley on Eglinton Ave near Markham Rd. Witnesses said that 2 or 3 shots were fired and two suspects fled in a car.

  • Oct 11 - Shortly before midnight, a 16-year-old was shot in the leg after he and his friends were approached by 3 men. The shooting happened in the Oakwood and Vaughn Road area and the victim was rushed to St. Michael's hospital where he is in stable condition. Police are looking for the suspects.

  • Oct 10 - Around 6:15 pm, a 25-year-old man was shot in the back in the Dufferin and Finch area of North York. The victim had lost a lot of blood before being found and was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. Police are looking for one suspect.

  • Sept 27 - Around 3 am, shots were fired in a party room of a highrise in the Kipling and Finch area. A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were injured. Their injuries were not serious.

  • Sept 27 - Around 2 am, shots were fired near a townhouse in the Albion and Finch area. A 17-year-old girl, sleeping in her bed was hit with a bullet fragment but was not awaken by the shot. It is believed that the home was targeted.

  • Sept 25 - Shortly after 5pm, a number of shots were fired in the Eglinton and Keele St area. There are no reports of any injuries and the shots fired are believed to be gang related.

  • Sept 25 - Around 5 pm, shots rang out at a basketball court near 375 Bleeker St downtown. One man was hit in the lower back and made his way to hospital. It is believed another man was shot in the leg.

  • Sept 25 - Around 4 pm, a man was shot in the leg from a passing car. The shooting took place in the Jane and Woolner area and the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Sept 24 - Around 5:45 pm, at the height of the rush hour, shots rang out on Yonge Street near Alexandria. There were no injuries and police who believe there might have been two intended targets are looking for the suspect. The gun was recovered in nearby bushes.

  • Sept 24 - Around 2 pm, security guards apprehended an alleged shoplifter at Dufferin Mall in the Dufferin and Bloor area in the city's west end. The man lifted his shirt and exposed a handgun in his waist. There are reports that at least one shot was fired. There were no injuries and police are looking for the suspect.

  • Sept 22 - Around 9:15 pm, police received a call to go the the infamous Driftwood Ct in the Jane and Sheppard area. At least 10 shots had been reported fired. A man in his 20s was found and pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Sept 21 - During the evening, at least 6 shots were fired on Jane St between St. Clair and Eglinton. One man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for a suspect and have a description.

  • Sept 21 - During the evening a man showed up at Humber Regional Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He has been uncooperative with police and they have no information on the shooter.

  • Sept 20 - Around 10:00 pm, a man in his 20s was shot in the arm and the abdomen at a Scarborough strip mall in the Kennedy and Ellesmere area. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in serious condition. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Sept 19 - Around 9:40 pm, a man in his 20s was shot in the groin on Driftwood Avenue in the Jane and Finch area. A short time later, 2 other men showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds. Police are unsure if those injuries were related to the Driftwood Ave shooting.

  • Sept 19 - Around 4:30 pm, an 18-year-old man was shot in the face in the Sheppard and Keele area. He was taken to hospital where he is in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Sept 16 - Around 5:15 pm, another 16-year-old was shot near a basketball court in the Jane and Finch area. He was pronounced dead at the scene and police are looking for 3 suspects who were seen fleeing in a car.

  • Sept 16 - Just before noon, a 16-year-old student was outside of his school with others when an argument developed. The student was shot in the chest and rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition. The school and 4 others were locked down and police are searching for suspects.

  • Sept 9 - Around 7:30 pm, a man in his 20s was shot in the leg in the Jane/Finch area of North York. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Sept 9- Around 2:45 pm, a man was dumped out of a moving vehicle on Highway 401 near Keele Street. The man had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. A short time later, the vehicle was found on fire a short distance away. The woman owner of the car was taken into custody and then released. Police believe that this might have been a revenge killing for the murder of a man at a bus stop the day before.

  • Sept 8 - Around 2:45 a man believed to be in his 20s was shot at a bus stop in the Keele and Eglinton Ave area of the city. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. As a result of the shooting, five local schools were locked down. Police are searching for a suspect.

  • Sept 4 - Around 9 pm, a 19-year-old man was shot in the chest in the Neilson Rd and Sheppard area of Scarborough. Police are searching for two suspects that have been described as younger teens. The victim was taken to hospital and is serious condition.

  • Sept 1 - Around 3:30 pm, at least 15 shots were fired from a car during a drive-by shooting. The incident happened near Jane and St Clair in the city's west end. A 27-year-old man who had just left his vehicle was shot twice in the leg and was taken to St Michael's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  • Aug 29 - Around 10 pm, police received reports of shots being fired at an apartment building at 1570 Jane St in the city's west end. Upon arrival, several people were seen running from the area. Four people were found to have been shot but it's not believed that any of them have life threatening injuries. None of the victims were cooperative with the police.

  • Aug 27 - Around 10:30 pm, police got a�911 call to go to a home in the Lawrence and McCowan area of Scarborough. Two men had been shot; one in the arm and the other in the head. It is believed that the shooting was an attempted murder/suicide. A third man was arrested at the scene but it is believed to be for an unrelated matter. Both men are in their 20s and the man who was shot in the head was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with life threatening injuries.

  • Aug 26 - Around 1 am, shots rang out in the Scarborough area of Markham Rd and McLevin. Although several people heard the shots they did nothing about it. In the morning a woman came out of her house and discovered the body of a man believed to be in his teens or early 20s on her front lawn. Police have no suspects.

  • Aug� 24- Around 7 pm, a man was shot in the neck in the area of Brimley and Eglinton. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Aug 24 - Shortly before noon, a cyclist discovered a body near a bike path in the Sheppard and Bathurst St area of North York. A subsequent autopsy of the 22-year-old man revealed that he died from gunshot wounds.

  • Aug 23 - Shortly after 4 am, shots rang out on Ossington Ave between Dundas and Queen. Several shell casings were found and it was believed that occupants in 2 vehicles had been shooting at each other. There were no reports of injuries and police have been unable to locate any witnesses

  • Aug 20 - Around 6 pm, police went to a location near Finch and Highway 27. A man who had been shot in the shoulder was found in a car. He was taken to hospital in stable condition. It is believed that the shooting was the result of a road rage incident.

  • Aug 19 - Around 4 pm, a fist fight developed among 5 men in the area of Eglinton Ave and Keele St in the city's west end. During the fight, one man brought out a gun and fired shots into the air. There were no injuries and after the K9 unit was called in, police arrested a 23-year-old man.

  • Aug 10 - Around 3 pm, gunfire erupted in a parking lot in the McCowan Rd and Sheppard Ave area of Scarborough. A man in his 20s had been shot 5 times and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. A second victim showed up at Scarborough General Hospital with his mother. He was transferred to Sunnybrook where he remains in critical condition. Police have a description of the shooter.

  • Aug 9 - Around 3 am, a man in his 20s was hit with at least 4 bullets. The shooting happened on Gwynne Ave in the Dufferin and King St area of Parkdale. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Aug 4 - Just before 3 am, a police officer was sitting in his cruiser in front of a plaza on Weston Rd near Hwy 401 when he was approached by 4 men. One of them fired several shots at the car. The officer was not injured but at least one bullet hit the car. A large manhunt that includes other police forces in underway for the suspects.

  • Aug 3 - Around 2:15 am, a 37-year-old man was shot in the thigh while resisting 3 men trying to rob him. The shooting took place in the Bay St. and Richmond St. area of downtown. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have descriptions of the three suspects.

  • Aug 2 - around 4 am, a man was shot in the thigh in the club district near Dundas and Beverley. There have been no arrests although the police took several people into custody for questioning. The victim is expected to survive.

  • Aug 2 - A�man was shot in the thigh in the club district around Queen and Beverley Street. There have been no arrests in the 4 am shooting although several people were detained for questioning.

  • July 31 - Around 10 pm, at least 8 shots were fired in the Jane and Weston Rd area. A 23-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to hospital in serious condition. Police are looking for two suspects.

  • July 28 - Around 10 pm, a man in his 20s was shot in� the back. The shooting happened in the Lawrence Avenue and Black Creek Dr area of the west end, the same area where two other men were shot in recent days. The victim was taken to hospital and is in serious condition.

  • July 27 - Shortly before 10:30 pm, a 22-year-old man was shot in the left thigh in a building on Weston Rd just above Lawrence. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in serious condition. Witnesses saw the shooter running away from the scene and into a housing complex.

  • July 27 - Shortly after 12:30 am, a man in his 20s was found in a pool of blood on Threthewey Dr. He had been shot in the head and thigh but is expected to survive.

  • July 26 - Around 11 pm a man in his 30s was shot in the face in a building on Eglinton Ave near Black Creek. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and is in serious condition.

  • July 26 - Around 2:30 am, gunfire erupted at a dance that was being held in the Disciples Revival Hall in the Jane and Falstaff area of North York. A man in his 40s was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other men were injured; one shot in the stomach and the other in the leg. There were about 500 people attending the dance.

  • July 20 - Police received a 911 call at 3:40 am to attend at a location in the Lake Shore Blvd and Brown's Line. There was a bullet-ridden SUV with three men inside. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe that the men were killed in another location and the SUV was then driven to the scene. Police are continuing their investigation and have no suspects.

  • July 19 - Around 1 am, shots were fired inside of a club in the Sheppard Ave E and Kingston Rd area. When police arrive, patrons were fleeing out of the establishment. A man in his 20s was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for suspects.

  • July 17 - At about 11 pm, shots were fired in the Brunswick and Bloor St area of the Annex.�A man was shot in the chest and a woman was hit in the ankle. Police are looking for several suspects.

  • July 17 - Around 6:45 pm, a 17-year-old boy was found on a stairwell on Mornelle Ct in the Ellesmere and Morningside area of Scarborough. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting happened in the same housing complex where a 22-year-old man was shot last Saturday. According to witnesses, the gunman fled to an adjacent building.

  • July 15 - Around 11 pm, shots were fired outside a home on Denison Ave in the Bathurst and Dundas St area. No one was injured although one of the bullets went through the door and into the livingroom. There were several small children at home at the time of the shooting. Police are looking for suspects.

  • July 15 - Several shots were fired around 6 pm outside of 260 Chester Le Blvd in the Victoria Park and Finch area. The suspects fled and police aren't sure if there were any injuries. A short time later, a man showed up at North York General Hospital with a gunshot wound. To no one's surprise, he was uncooperative but police think that he may have been shot on Chester Le Blvd.

  • July 14 - Around 12:30 am, several shots rang out at Queens Quay W and York Street. A 28-year-old man who had just finished a boat cruise was shot in the knee. Police are looking for suspects.

  • July 12 - Around 7 pm, shots rang out on Mornelle Ct in the Morningside and Ellesmere area of Scarborough. A man in� his 20s was shot several times and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A crowd had formed that were hostile to police when they arrived. Police have gotten very little information regarding suspects.

  • July 12 - Around 3:45 pm, shots were fired in the parking lot of the Polson Pier nightclub located at Cherry and Polson St.� A 21-year-old man was hit in the chest, pelvis and wrist. He was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating.

  • July 9 - Around 7 pm, gunfire erupted in a housing complex near Victoria Park and Lawrence. Witnesses said at least 9 shots were fired. One man in his 20s was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to his arm. Police are looking for about 7 suspects who were seen fleeing.

  • July 9 - Around 3 am, a man was shot outside of a pool hall in the College and Bathurst St area of Little Italy. The victim was taken to hospital where he is being treated for wounds to his leg. There is no word on suspects or a motive.

  • July 7 - Around 11 pm a 24-year-old man was shot several times in the Meadowvale and Sheppard Ave. area of Scarborough. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital and the shooter fled the scene.

  • July 5 - Around 9 pm, a man made his own way to hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. It is believed that he was injured when shots were fired in the Pharamcy and Teesdale Pl. area of Scarborough.

  • July 2 - Around 1 am, as many as 6 bullets were fired into a home in the Scarlett Rd. and Dundas Street area of west Toronto. There were no injuries although three people were home in the unit including an 11-year-old boy. Police are reviewing surveillance tapes.

  • June 18 - Around 11:30 pm, a man in his 40s suffered head wounds when a bullet shattered the window of a car that he was riding in. The incident happened on Blossomfield Rd in the Lawrence and Dufferin area and the victim was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital. Police are looking for two suspects who were seen fleeing the scene in a red car.
  • June 15 - At around 5:30 am, a man showed up in the hospital with gunshot wounds. The shooting is believed to have happened in North York in the Islington and Hwy 400 area. Police believe that the shooting was gang related.

  • June 15 - At approximately 3:30 am, shots were fired in a townhouse complex near Morningside and Kingston Rd. A woman in her 40s, a man in his 30s and a man in his 20s were all hit. All are expected to live and police are searching for the shooter.

  • June 15 - Around 1:30 am, a man was shot and killed on Woolner Ave in the Jane and St. Clair area of the west end. He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have no suspects.

  • June 13 - Shortly after midnight, two men, believed to be in their 20s were shot in the Entertainment Districe near Richmond and Niagara Streets. Both were taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. Both men later died.

  • June 11 -- Around 4:30 pm, a shoot out between two teens took place in a Regent Park playground at River and Oak Streets. Witnesses said at least 6 shots were fired. An 18-year-old was shot in the chest and taken to hospital in critical condition. A 15-year-old later showed up in hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs.

  • May 30 - Shortly before midnight, a man was shot in the head on Parma Ct in the Victoria Park and Eglinton Ave area. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released any information regarding suspects in the case.

  • May 28 - Around 11:30 pm, a man was shot in what was believed to be a gun battle in the Birchmound and Sheppard area of Scarborough. Witnesses say that at least 5 shots were fired and the man, believed to be in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for two suspects that were seen fleeing the area.
  • May 28 - Around 7:30 pm, several shots were fired on Belvidere Ave in the Oakwood and Vaughan Rd area of Toronto. A 20-year-old man was shot and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are searching for suspects and have charged the victim with numerous gun related charges.

  • May 28 - Around 10:30 am, a man in his 20s was shot several times on Sewells Rd. in the Neilson and Sheppard area of Scarborough. Witnesses told police at they heard at least 6 shots hving been fired. The victim was rushed to Roughe Valley Centenary Hospital where he later died. The shooting occured close to a secondary school that was locked down while police searched for a suspect.
  • May 25 - Around 5 am, at least 6 shots were fired into three townhouses in a complex located in Finch and Albion area of Rexdale. There were no injuries although one of the bullets narrowly missed a woman inside one of the homes. Police are searching for suspects.

  • May 24 - Around 10 pm, a man was shot in the leg on Humber Blvd in Rexdale. Police believe there may be a second shooting victim. The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

  • May 24 - Around 1 am, a man in his 20s was shot at least two times. The incident happened on Driftwood Ct in the Jane and Finch area of North York. The man was taken to hospital where he is in critical but stable condition. Police are investigating.

  • May 10 - Just before midnight, a man was shot in the leg and chest in the area of Finch and Islington. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition but is expected to pull through. Police are looking for suspects.

  • May 9 - Shortly before midnight, a man was shot in the leg. About 5 shots were fired in the Don Mills and Eglinton Ave area and one hit the victim. He later walked in to Scarborough Centenary Hospital for treatment. Police have a description and are looking for a suspect.

  • May 4 - Around 2 pm, police were called to an apartment building at 25 Cougar Cres near Markham Rd and Eglinton Avenue East. A 20-year-old man had been shot to death in the stairwell of the building.

  • May 3 - Around 10 am, a man was shot several times in a townhouse complex near Kingston Rd and Bellamy. He was hit in the leg and stomach and was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • May 1 - Around 6 pm, a 28-year-old man was shot in the arm. The shooting took place in an apartment on Lawrence Avenue near Birchmount. Police have no suspects and the victim is being uncooperative.

  • Apr 24 - Around 10 pm, about 20 shots were fired in a playground on Bleeker St in the Sherbourne and Wellesley Streets area. Shell casings were found in the playground and 4 men were seen leaving the area in a black SUV. There were no reports of injuries and no arrests.

  • Apr 22 - Around 3 am, a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg in the Queen and Lansdowne area of downtown Toronto. He was then driven north to York Region and dumped near Newmarket. Police have no word on suspects.

  • Apr 16 - Shortly after 8 pm a man in his 20s was shot in a restaurant on Jane Street near Lawrence Ave. He was shot in the groin and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for suspects.

  • Apr 13 - Shortly before 11 pm, a teenage boy was shot at least 4 times. The shooting happened in the vicinity of Albion Rd and Weston Rd in Rexdale. He was taken to hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery. Two suspects were seen running from the scene.

  • Apr 9 - Around 5 pm, a a gun battle occurred between 2 motorists in the Markham Rd and Progress Ave area of Scarborough. One man was hit in the arm and leg and went to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The car of the other driver was later recovered in Markham.

  • Apr 9 - Around 2 pm, shots rang out in the Lawrence and Pharmacy area of Scarborough. It is believed that two groups of men were shooting at each other. Two men were hit. One was hit in the chest and taken to hospital in serious condition. The other was hit in the leg and has minor injuries. Police are investigating.

  • Apr 4 - Around 3:45 pm, several shots were fired at 2 police officers in the Morningside and Kingston Rd area of Scarbrough. There were no injuries and one man was arrested a short distance away. Police are looking for a second suspect.

  • Apr 1 - Around 9 pm about 7 shots were fired in the Jane and Sheppard area. No one was injured but one bullet entered a home, barely missing a woman who lived there. Two cars were seen speeding away from the area after the shooting.

  • Mar 31 - Around 6:30 pm, several shots were fired in the Morningside and Finch area of Scarborough. No one was hurt although three bullets went through the window of a home. Police arrested 2 suspects.

  • Mar 28 - Shortly before 9 pm, a teenage girl was shot in the leg on a subway train that was approaching the Spadina station. She was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The girl became invovled in an altercation with 3 men on the train and some witnesses report that she had pulled a knife out. Police are looking for 3 suspects.

  • Mar 20 - Around 7 pm, a 23-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle with his young daughter when he was shot in the chest. The little girl wasn't injured and the man was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition. Police are seeking a suspect.

  • Mar 18 - Around 4:30 pm, a 35-year-old man was shot once in the stomach. The shooting happened in a home on Carlaw Ave near Dundas St. in the city's east end. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.

  • Mar 15 - During the evening, police were called to the Sound Academy on Polson St. in regards of shots being fired. As they approached two suspects one of the men took off and then fired at the officers. A 357 magnum was later recovered and the man faces several charges including two counts of�attempted murder.

  • Mar 14 - Around 10 pm, six young men and teens were shot in a housing complex in the Lawrence Ave and Allen Rd area of North York. It is believed that a gun discharged accidentally, leading to a shoot out. Two teens were rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with life threatening injuries, one having been shot in the head. The others suffered various gunshot wounds. Police are looking for one suspect.

  • Mar 11 - Around 3 pm, a man was shot in a plaza in the Weston Rd. and 401 area of the city. He took himself to hospital where he was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries. A car was seen speeding from the area of the shooting.
  • Mar 11 - A road rage incident occurred around 11:30 am on the 401 east. One vehicle followed another one and while the�first driver was travelling westbound on Ellesmere Ave, the second vehicle pulled along side of him and pointed a gun. The first driver then accelerated and two shots that were fired hit the back of the first car. Police have a description of the shooter.

  • Mar 10 - Shortly after midnight a fight occurred in the Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. area. One man was shot in the leg and taken to Humber River Regional Hospital. Police are looking for the shooter. �

  • Mar 9 - Around 4:45 am, a 16-year-old was shot while in his home in the Shuter and Sackville area of downtown Toronto. The shooter was in the victim's backyard and aimed at him through the window. The youth is in hospital and expected to survive. Police are looking for the shooter.

  • Feb 24 - Shortly before 1 am, two men were shot in the stomach. The shooting took place at a private party held in a cafe on College Street near Manning Ave. Both men are expected to survive although one is in serious condition. Police are looking for an 18-year-old suspect.

  • Feb 22 - Around 9:30 pm, a man in his 20s was shot to death in a home in the Markham Rd and Lawrence Ave area of Scarborough. Police are looking for several suspects who were seen fleeing the area.

  • Feb 17 - Around 6 am, several shots were fired in the Finch and Neilson area of Scarborough. When police arrived they found the body of a man in his 20s just outside a home where an all-night party was being held. Witnesses reported four men fleeing the area in a vehicle at the time of the shooting.
  • Feb 10 - Shortly after midnight, a 21-year-old man was shot in the chest. The shooting happened in a parking lot of a community centre near the Kennedy subway station. The man was able to flag down an ambulance who took him to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are examining surveillance tapes.

  • Feb 6 - Around 11 pm, a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times while sitting in a car at 160 Chalkfarm Dr in the Jane and Wilson area. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Police, who believe it may have been a case of mistaken identity are looking for 2 suspects who were seen fleeing the scene.

  • Feb 1 - Shooting - Around 1:30 pm, a shootout occurred during an apparent home invasion in a high-rise located in the Danforth Rd. and Eglinton Ave. area. Two men were killed while a third was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition. All men who were in their late teens and early 20s were known to police. Police are looking for 3 more suspects.

  • Jan 22 - Shooting - Around 8 pm, police found a teen on Jane St. near Chalkfarm Dr. who had been shot in the head. He was vital signs absent but was revived and rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he was put on life support. Police believe he may have been shot in a car and then dumped out.

  • Jan 17 - Shooting - Around 6 pm a man in his 40s was shot�in front of�a grocery store on Gerrard St. E. near Broadview. Police believe he was an innocent bystander that was caught in a crossfire. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are looking for 2 suspects who were seen fleeing the area.

  • Jan 13 - Shooting - Around 4 am, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the foot as he was leaving a party in an apartment building on Kipling Ave. Police are seeking 2 suspects.

  • Jan 12 - Shooting - Around 10 pm, a man was shot in the stomach in an alley in the Bathurst St. and Eglinton Ave area of the city. He was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for three suspects.

  • Jan 12 - Shooting - Shortly after 1 am, a man was shot in the head on a sidewalk on Yonge St near the Brass Rail strip club. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are looking for a suspect who was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.

  • Jan 5 - Shooting - Around 4:45 am, a 27-year-old man was dropped off at York Finch Hospital after having been shot. He told police that he had been shot in front of a bar in the Jane and Sheppard area of North York. There have been no arrests.
