Keystone Pipeline, Sustainable energy and Obama’s Utopia

The American people are being bombarded with information, some true, some false and most of it somewhere in between. For example, the Keystone pipeline which has passed both houses of Congress but was veto by the President, ostensibly because he wants to retain his authority. Some would argue that he is protecting his OPEC buddies.

Our Crucial Choice of the War on Terror

There are two models for fighting terrorism. We can see the terrorists as an external invading force that has to be destroyed or as an internal element in our society to be managed.

In the War on Terror, Bush saw terrorists as an external force that had to be fought while Obama sees them as an internal element to be managed. And while both men signed off on some of the same tactics, their view of the conflict at the big picture level was fundamentally different.

Obama: If a congressional vote says executive amnesty is illegal, ‘I will veto that vote’

You really have to consider the audacity of this on multiple levels. For one thing, you don’t need a congressional vote to establish the illegality of something that is already illegal. Obama knows perfectly well that executive amnesty was his decision to work outside the law because Congress wasn’t on board with his agenda. It’s one thing to complain that they won’t do what you want. Every president has done that at some point. It’s another thing entirely to decide that, because they wouldn’t, you would.

Obama’s Little Shop of Horrors!

“Feed me!  Feed me now!! Feed me all night long!  If you feed me, I can grow up big and strong.” These are lines spoken by Audrey II, in the movie, “Little Shop of Horrors.” The plant that grows bigger every time he eats and is never quite satisfied. He always wants more. It is never enough! “FEED ME!”

Equatorial Glaciers?—Yeah!

As you know from the Prez, the UN, and countless NGOs, the earth is ready to get a heat stroke, we’re told that “climate change” is the mother of all threats. All because of your use of (still?) incandescent light bulbs, not wanting to freeze in the dark, or your need to drive to the drugstore for a medicine or to work.

Obama’s own former intel chief: John Kerry ‘out of touch with reality’ on terrorism

If you believe the administration (hint: you shouldn’t) you’re almost completely safe from the violent world around you. According to John Kerry, terrorism is a minor annoyance and Americans - along with the rest of the planet - are currently enjoying a tranquil period. There are “less violent deaths today” than there were during the last century. Of course, we still need gun control, jobs programs for jihadis, “strategic patience,” and lots of caution at the mall, but ignore all of that.  You, like the borders, are secure.

Lois Lerner emails are now the subject of a criminal investigation

If you watched the testimony of IRS officials like John Koskinen and Lois Lerner, you probably came away more confused than enlightened. Stories were exposed as lies, facts shifted, and statements contradicted each other until the whole thing devolved into a chaotic - and obvious - morass of misdirection. But there are a few things we know.

#WelcomeBibi—Iran sneaks nuclear facility; Netanyahu must address Congress

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) breaking the news that Iran has been operating a more than 150-foot deep underground uranium enrichment facility, for the specific purpose of developing nuclear warheads, demands the Obama administration and U.N. take a realistic view of negotiations with the renegade nation—that they are pointless. Iran never has and, under the hand of the mullahs, never will capitulate to Western pressure to cease their nuclear aspirations.

A Letter to the Senate

The nomination of Loretta Lynch to the position of Attorney General is before you. Although her intelligence, experience, and poise may appear to make her a superb candidate, it is clear now that she would be an extremely poor – even dangerous — choice due to her strong position on civil asset forfeiture.

Conservatives and “Gaffes”

Scott Walker has recently, according to the cognoscenti of leftism, committed a couple of “gaffes.”  A snarky British journalist asked Walker if he believed in evolution.  Walker could have answered by saying that Sir Fred Hoyle, who was Director of the Cambridge Institute of Astrophysics believed that evolution by natural selection was not only unlikely but virtually impossible, and noting that Hoyle, whose discovery of the process for the formation of heavy elements in stars was essential to any theory of carbon based life, was an agnostic.

The Emperor Knows He Has No Clothes

The President of the United States of America, a country 350 million strong, the man who is referred to as the Leader of the Free World is afraid of the Prime Minister of Israel. Why else would he go to such lengths to prevent this man, Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of a mere 8 million people, from speaking to the American people through the Congress? If Obama is so sure that his tactics will save the free world from an Iranian atomic bomb, then Netanyahu is nothing more than an annoying pebble in his shoe.
