Modern Day Liberalism Has Perverted Justice

New Liberal Judicial System in America One of my Harvard classmates raised some interesting questions as to the handling of the allegations raised by Professor Ford against Justice Kavanaugh. I tend to agree with a recent Wall Street Journal editorial which argues that recent events support the view that justice in America has been turned on its head.

Questions Asked: Can Caterpillars Predict Weather?

caterpillar, Isabella Tiger Moth Can a caterpillar predict coming winter weather? Since the 1600s, North American folklore holds that the larvae of the Isabella Tiger Moth, Pyrrharctia isabella, can do just that. But be warned: the sharp hairs of woolly bear caterpillars, as they are popularly called, while not poisonous may cause dermatitis in sensitive people.

Questioning Climate Hysteria

Kenneth Richard and Pierre Gosselin have been compiling lists which question climate hysteria. Questioning Climate Hysteria In just the first 6 months of 2018, 254 scientific papers were published that cast doubt on the position that anthropogenic CO2 emissions function as the climate's fundamental control knob, or that otherwise serve to question the efficacy of climate models or the related 'consensus' position commonly endorsed by policymakers and mainstream media sources.

The Trap Republicans Fell Into

The Trap Republicans Fell Into Senator Flake really did it this time. He learned nothing from his co-workers and predecessors. Flake actually believed his Democrat colleagues. In their zeal to appear fair, the Republicans, led by Flake, fell into the trap set by Democrats. They will now almost certainly parade additional accusers from under any rock they can find.

HIS FINEST HOUR

HIS FINEST HOUR It had been a long day at the U.S. Senate as the Judiciary Committee heard from both Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Millions of Americans witnessed an incredible spectacle as both people claimed 100% confidence in their recollection of events.

Jake Tapper: Hey, y’know, there’s no evidence that any of these Kavanaugh charges are true

Jake Tapper: Hey, y’know, there’s no evidence that any of these Kavanaugh charges are true Yesterday, just for the heck of it, I watched the Kavanaugh hearings on CNN. Why, I don’t know. Maybe I thought such a penance would shave a few years off my time in purgatory. Regardless, if you watched it as I did, you were treated to a disgusting display of bias and a series of almost gleeful panels that eagerly lapped up and described the testimony offered by Christine Blasey Ford. It was, in a word, vulgar.

Judiciary Committee to vote on Kavanaugh at 9:30 a.m., reportedly has votes to confirm

Judiciary Committee to vote on Kavanaugh at 9:30 a.m., reportedly has votes to confirm This comes via Matt Vespa at Townhall, whose sources tell him it’s a done deal. Not only are Collins, Murkowski and Flake all voting to confirm, but even a few Democrats may do so – particularly Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who is up for re-election this year and can’t afford to go against the wishes of his red-state constituents if he wants another term.

Judge Kavanaugh Must Be Believed

Judge Kavanaugh Must Be Believed I have to say, I'm surprised Dr. Blasey Ford was able to become a doctor after being scarred for life by a 'groping'. Oh how insensitive of me, am I belittling a sexual attack?

It’s irrelevant that Blasey Ford sounded convincing; Kavanaugh completely destroyed her story

It’s irrelevant that Blasey Ford sounded convincing; Kavanaugh completely destroyed her story Let’s not forget what’s really happening here. This is not a theater competition. It is not a debate. It not even a he-said-she-said. We’re dealing with devastatingly serious allegations against a man, by a woman who has only her memory to back up what she claims happened 36 years ago. A man accused of such things is entitled to the opportunity to offer facts that refute the accusations.

The Prison that is Socialism

Imagine a large prison with beautiful mountains that you are not allowed to climb because you are too poor to afford the gear and you must get a permit from the warden. These mountains grow blue spruce and pine forests where bears and other creatures dwell but you cannot visit because important people are hunting brown bears and they’ve paid huge sums to shoot them under the supervision of the game warden.
