Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is under fire for questioning President Joe Biden's nominee for an assistant health secretary position, Dr. Rachel Levine, about her alleged support for giving children puberty blockers and sex-change surgeries.
During a confirmation hearing Thursday, Paul pointedly asked Levine, who is a transgender woman, about her support for allowing children to change their sex, and whether she believes children are capable of making such life-altering decisions.
The spokesperson for United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres was asked on February 24th to comment regarding Saturday Night Live’s anti-Semitic “joke.” Israel’s claim to have vaccinated half of its population meant only its “Jewish half,” the SNL cast member snarked. The spokesperson replied, “It's not for me to get into.”
The Secretary General likes to talk abstractly about the evils of anti-Semitism. But when asked about a specific example of an anti-Semitic comment that was broadcast widely on television, his spokesperson refused to denounce it. Instead, he criticized Israel. The spokesperson said that “we have called from here for Israel to do greater cooperation with the Palestinian Authorities in line with its obligations to ensure that the vaccine gets to the population… the Palestinian population in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.”

We have been given a clear look at some of those who took an oath to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States and yet, when called upon, took a path to hide beneath their desks.
The Supreme Court of the United States is supposed to be above politics. They are commissioned to be the caretaker, the preserver and protector of the Constitution, everything we stand for, the last resort of those looking for justice. They are the final arbiter when deciding the limits of government power and fair treatment. And yet, what happens when Chief Justice John Roberts continually punts rather than makes the play?

Last night, House Democrats passed their $1.9 trillion bailout package, that they say will stimulate the economy. However, the 591 page Coronavirus Relief Bill (American Rescue Plan Act of 2021) has more pork in it than Smithfield Pork Products produces in 10 years. I just barely skimmed over the phony covid relief bill and found bailouts for Democrat states and cities and money for their friends and pet projects.
In fact, there's a $350 billion bailout of mismanaged Democrat cities and states, and Pelosi is using it to fund a $112 million underground railway for Silicon Valley. There's even $130 billion for colleges and teachers' unions. In fact, the bill will bail out mismanaged union retirement accounts. None of the aforementioned spending will help the economy or the people hurt by the government's forced shutdown, but that's not all.
