34 workers trapped underground at Nutrien potash mine
The company says there it is not clear when the mine shaft will be repaired, allowing the workers to return to the surface.

Nearly three dozen workers have spent almost a full day underground at Nutrien Ltd.’s Cory potash mine west of Saskatoon, after the facility’s service shaft abruptly stopped working.
Nutrien spokesman Will Tigley on Wednesday morning said the 34 maintenance workers are safe and have access to food, water and wifi. It was not immediately clear when the shaft elevator would be repaired.-- More...
