1- 90% of U.S. imports are duty-free under USMCA. Clothes, phones, toys, appliances — all still $0 tariff.
2- Tariffs only hit non-compliant junk nobody buys anyway. Your iPhone isn’t suddenly carrying a Trump surcharge.  
3- Here’s what actually blew up your receipt:
•  Loonie at 71¢ — imports cost 40% more overnight
•  Carbon tax + GST + provincial fees stacking like Lego
• Retailers padding prices and blaming “tariffs” because they know most people won’t check
Bottom line:
Tariffs aren’t the problem.
A weak dollar and bad policy are.
If we want cheaper stuff, fix the economy — not the headlines.
