Woman charged with attempted capital murder after husband, 2 young kids stabbed in Denton Co

A 37-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon


A Denton County woman is facing attempted capital murder charges after authorities say her husband and two young children, ages 3 years and 10 months, were found with stab wounds inside a home early Tuesday morning.

According to the Northlake Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive on Tuesday at approximately 4:20 a.m. regarding a stabbing in progress.

Officers were informed that a male subject reported that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him.

Police said officers arrived within minutes and detained an adult female. They also located an 34-year-old man who had been stabbed in the head. It's unclear if the man knew the children had been stabbed as well. ---More...
