New Orleans has gotten its share of the snowstorm covering the South after Donald Trump's second inauguration.
Folks are peeking out of their homes as the white stuff slowly melts and slippery stuff beneath is now exposed.
We're experiencing lots of car wrecks and repairs of burst pipes attributable to our usually tropical clime.
As is always the case, friends and family are helping each other through this unique weather event.
Local and state government are issuing alerts and to their credit, both the New Orleans Police and Fire Departments have maintained high visibility throughout this process.
In short, fellow opinionated people, all is well (to varying degrees of course) in an implausibly icy 'Big Easy.'
