Many senior United Nations officials believe that the UN has governance authority on behalf of all “global citizens” that transcends the individual authority of the member states who pay the UN’s bills to govern their own citizens. This arrogance is exposed in a leaked recording of a senior UN official’s reaction to the prospect of another Trump presidency.
