Updated from an April 2014 article on this issue According to 2018 statistics from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), about 1 in 59 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), up from the one in 68 in 2016. This updated CDC chart--from 2019--reveals the shocking escalation of autism in the U.S., which is predicted to be one in every 40 children in the near future.
