Official figures have revealed that the vast majority of left-wing protesters arrested for politically motivated violence in Berlin are young men who still live at home with their parents.
The data, compiled by Germany’s Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) and published by the tabloid Bild, was extracted from 873 suspects who were arrested during political demonstrations in Berlin between 2003 and 2013.
A little more than half (58 percent) of the arrests resulted from crimes which took place in the neighborhoods of Friedrichshain, Kruezberg, and Mitte.-- More...
