UPDATE: Reince Priebus has issued a statement saying he supports the Scaramucci hiring "100%." So, it's a question of who's version you believe... I doubt this one will come as a surprise to many people, but Sean Spicer has resigned as White House Press Secretary. If you've been observing the way this administration dysfunctions, this probably feels like something that's been coming for a long time. The specific reason, it seems, is that Spicer is not a fan of President Trump's decision to make Anthony Scaramucci the new White House communications director. As the New York Times reports:
Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, resigned on Friday morning, telling President Trump he vehemently disagreed with the appointment of New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.
