Canada: York University President urged to stop spread of Islamic misogynistic values on campus

Pegida Canada, a grassroots organization warning of the danger of radical Islam to Canada’s values and freedoms, posted on November 15, 2016 an open letter to Mamdouh Shoukri, the President of York University in Toronto. York University, was hailed by the Toronto Star in 2007 as one of Canada’s most diverse campuses, appointed the first Muslim, Mamdouh Shoukri, to be “the permanent head of a Canadian university.” But back in March there was another report, not quite as glowing, about the treatment of Jews on York’s “diverse campus.” Shelley Yachaev, president of the Israeli Students Union at York, stated that during her four years there, “every little part of the university has been infiltrated with anti-Semitism,” and that “some of her own professors have endorsed the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement — an international Palestinian-led movement that seeks to demonize the Jewish state.” -- More...
