Canada's Emergencies Act is only supposed to be invoked in the most extreme of circumstances in which there is a dire threat to the Canadian nation. In fact, the requirements are so extreme that it has only been invoked in Canada ONCE during the Freedom Convoy trucker protests last February. Yet, despite the requirement that only the most extreme threats to Canada can be used to justify it, a current inquiry panel has revealed the most trivial of reasons used by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to invoke the Emergencies Act such as a parking problem in downtown Ottawa and neurotic liberals suffering from such microaggressions as hearing (in their minds) phantom horns and smelling phantom smells.

OMG! Ya gotta be joking. When will the Canadians get rid of Truedope? Is there any hope it will happen soon? I know we down here in the states have to wait, more or less, til '24 to dump Brandon, but "c'mon, man". Microaggressions? Really? Wow! My soul cries for y'all up there.

Pierre Poislievre, should he lead the Conservative Party to a majority, must make his first act the turning over of management of the CBC to a conservative "alternate" media group such as Rebel News or Epoch Times. He can say "Fair is fair; Liberals have had the National Broadcaster as their mouthpiece for decades and now it's our turn."

Of course that's not what conservatism is about and making such a management (and wholesale staff) change would only bring journalistic integrity to one of Canada's three broadcasters.

A guy can dream, eh?
