A Catholic doctor called on Sunday for an independent inquiry into reports that COVID-19 patients with learning disabilities have been given “do not resuscitate” notices during the second wave of the virus in the U.K.
Fr. Patrick Pullicino, a neurologist who was ordained in 2019, spoke out after the Guardian newspaper reported on Feb. 13 that people with learning disabilities were given the notices despite an outcry over the practice last year that prompted an urgent investigation.-- More...
