Never let a good crisis go to waste. Where have you heard that one before? Throughout the 20th century and now into the 21st century, the most important element for Marxists (aka: socialists and communists) to succeed is public unrest and chaos. To succeed, this chaos must be so severe that the public becomes fearful and demands that the government “do something.” The fact that the something the government comes up with will take away liberties is completely ignored.
