Right now, the left is like a drowning man scrambling for a life preserver made of lead. They think they know why they're sinking, but every time they latch on to an explanation, it only takes them down faster. Most of the time, the claims upon which they hang their excuses represent the very ignorance which cost them the election in the first place: Everyone's a racist, everyone's a 'phobe,' and everyone hates immigrants. They stubbornly refuse to admit that they responded to a "change" election by running a crooked career politician who was despised even by members of her own party.
