Misleading claims on organic food grocery bags deceive shoppers on bees and pesticides

Correct or cancel Mom's grocery bag misinformation

I don't deliberately avoid organic foods or markets, but I don't seek them out either. Claims that organic food tastes better or is more nutritious are not supported by evidence and certainly don't justify the far higher prices. Mostly, I'm put off by assertions that organic food is pesticide-free, safer and more planet-friendly. Those assertions are simply false advertising; deliberate misinformation. Mom's Organic Market shopping bags provide an excellent example. They're emblazoned with six "Bee Informed" messages that help customers Bee the Change, Give Bees a Chance, and Save the Bees from a looming Armageddon attributed to synthetic pesticides. The Bee Misinformed messages merit correction.

Informative good article. When they can find they claimed birth control in ice and snow at the poles and in rivers and lakes everywhere, years ago, how much of anything is not contaminated. Again the use of the word organic is used wrong, we too are all, along with all life, organic, how much we are polluted and how much just breathing the air and being rained on puts chemicals on all life and everything else, whether sprayed with chemicals or not. Many pests are poisonous to us and carry diseases too and kill or make ill many plants and us, that is the nature of our world. All the human interference in nature is sometimes wrong.

This appears to be a hit piece from Montsanto.

The moment you attacked the legitimacy of organic foods, I honestly had to stop listening. My wife and I eat a lot of but not exclusively organic food. Sometimes she can't get it. More than once, I have bitten into chicken and said, oh you couldn't get organic, eh? She'll say, nope all out. The taste is distinctly better. I have friends around me that are certified organic farmers and I know the troubles that they must go through and unbelievable lengths to keep their organic certification including middle of the night raids by FDA inspectors. Food that is labelled organic in the US, sold through a major grocery store is organic. My friends attend conferences and know the insides and outs of the industry. If what you say has any truth at all, it is in the smallest percentages in the industry. Get your facts straight before attacking an entire industry.
